Casa Isabella: Serenity By The Sea

Casa Isabella is 5 minutes walk from the centre of the the village of Malfa on the island of Salina, one of the seven Aeolian Islands off the north-west coast of Sicily. This two storey house was recently renovated to exceptional standards and restored in typical Aeolian style with a contemporary twist, sleeping two people comfortably. The house has magnificent uninterrupted views over the ocean, including from the double bedroom, the two covered outdoor terraces and the front garden. It is bordered by grape vines on one side, olive trees to the other, and the ocean in front. The double bedroom upstairs has a window overlooking the sea and also views back to Malfa, and has an en-suite bathroom and shower. Downstairs there is a large living area that opens onto a covered terrace which is perfect for entertaining, a modern eat-in kitchen opening to another terrace, and another bathroom with shower and washing machine. The house is minimalist in design with resin floors and new fittings throughout. All bedding and bath towels are supplied (please bring your own beach towels), and the kitchen is fully equipped. The house is fully air-conditioned and also has heating for the colder months, as well as a slow combustion fire-place. The house has television and wifi, but no telephone. Mobile reception is good. The house is a 5 minute walk from Malfa shops and village square, a 10 minute walk to Malfa port and a 15 minute walk to Punta Scario Beach. It has plenty of parking space for a car and/or scooters, both of which can be rented in Malfa. Casa Isabella is perfect for a week, a month or the whole summer season! Minimum stay is 7 nights. Casa Isabella is also our holiday home, and we ask that you treat it as if it were yours. Upon arrival, we will supply a full information guide to the house, restaurants and other sites and services in Malfa, and the surrounding islands. Cleaning fee is €50 and is to be paid in cash directly to the cleaner upon checkout. PLEASE NOTE, THIS HOUSE IS SUITABLE FOR ADULTS ONLY.

Gelso 2, 200 m from Baia Punta Scario

"Gelso 2" is 200 meters from Punta Scario bay, 700 meters from the fishermen's marina and 300 meters from the town center. Two entrance avenues lead to the house, one on the Punta Scario bay side and the other on the Via Nilo side of the town center. It consists of a double bedroom with bathroom and private terrace overlooking the sea, a bedroom with two single beds with a solution for another double bed, a kitchen-dining room, a living room with a double sofa bed, a second bathroom and a large second terrace with sea and sunset views.

L'Agave, Salina

L'Agave is a late nineteenth century villa located in one of the most panoramic and comfortable areas of the island of Salina. The owner, scenographer and costume designer of Italian theater and cinema, took care of the furnishings with love and elegance and respecting the style of the island. In 2 minutes you reach one of the most suggestive beaches, the beach of Scario, which due to its proximity, looks like the villa's private beach. You would also be 10 minutes on foot from Malfa center.

The Villa is located in Pollara, a small and quiet village in the northwest of the island, lying on the caldera of an ancient volcano. The property consists of two Aeolian-style houses connected by a large courtyard, in the center of which stands a majestic centuries-old olive tree. In a privileged position, overlooking Filicudi and Alicudi, the sunset sky is tinged with all shades of orange.

The House of the Arch

Nestled in the vineyards of Capo Faro on the island of Salina, this fully restored 19th Century farm house, furnished with period pieces. Casa Rosa

The Pink House is divided in two independent apartments (see photos Casa Rosa A and B). Each apartment has one double bedroom, a large kitchen/living room with one couch bed and one bathroom with a shower. The apartment B also has one built in mezzanine with a two single beds. The house has been renewed in 2019, but its colors and frames have been kept unchanged just the way they were 100 years ago. You will be assigned Casa Rosa A or B depending on availability.

The little house in Serra

From the terrace you will have the pleasure of admiring a breathtaking view of Lipari. The house is a small part of a typical countryside house. There is an open living room with a kitchen zone - in this room it is possible to open up a divan bed, or if you prefer two single beds. In the bedroom there is a double bed, and when necessary there is enough space to add a single bed. The bathroom has a shower and there is also an outdoor shower on the terrace.

Casa Gaia

The property, surrounded by the greenery of Pollara, offers a breathtaking view from the veranda, the bedroom and the kitchen. Thanks to their exposure, it is possible to witness a wonderful sunset accompanied by the enchanting view of the Filicudi and Alicudi Islands. Among other things, you can reach the ancient fishing village with a pleasant walk, where you can recognize some places from the movie Il Postino. Ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday.
