We loved our time at Maggie’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful! The place is exactly as described and has everything you need for a wonderful stay in the mountains. We loved how private it was and it is a short drive to Haenertsburg, Magoebaskloof and hiking trails. Beautiful interior space with great views of the mountains and waterfall. The sink hot tub is a lovely experience and in the perfect spot. We will definitely be back and are already planning our next stay. Thank you Maggie!

The place was beautiful and very clean. The support staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time. There was a generous amount of bedding for in case we were cold and a generous supply of firewood to keep the living room cozy.

If you’re looking for peace, fresh air, views and silence that make you hear your own brain reboot, Jacobus’s place is it. Yes, the road in is a bit of an adventure - but if it hasn't been raining I reckon you can do it in any Avis car. Nevertheless, Jacobus gives crystal-clear directions. Even I didn’t get lost! The house is pure magic: cozy fireplace, wifi good enough to take a Zoom call, and nature so beautiful you’ll consider throwing your laptop into the forest. I booked for a few days, stayed for 10, and only left because someone else beat me to it. Already planning my return!

The unit is quaint and compact, but has everything you need and can think of. The decor is gorgeous and a lot of effort has been put into making the space feel cosy. We were also able to use the braai/bbq facilities and found the unit to be more private than anticipated. Will definitely be back!

A beautiful, peaceful and clean place. they surroundings did one's soul great, the beauty of the view of the lake. When we walked it, it felt like home, it was so clean, neat, clutter-free. The apartment unit smelt nice, fresh and had extra room sprays. The towels where beautiful folded soft and also smelled so nice. It felt like we checked into a 5-Star Hotel. Really such a stunning experience. We also had an exceptional excellent night's rest, comfortable bed with great quality linen. We had such an awesome experience. Thank you to the awesome and kind hosts, we are excited to book again!

Had an amazing stay here, the property had everything we needed from fire wood to rusks. It's in a great location far enough away that you have nature on your doorstep with peace and quiet but close enough for exploring the local area or getting to Mall of the North for supplies. The Braai pit and the KolKol hot tub were definite highlights. A lot of effort and attention to detail has gone into the property and the experience. Great communication and instructions from Leonie who met us and checked us in too, as well as the groundskeeper who took care of cleaning the Braai pit for us. Thanks a lot. Would highly recommend a stay here!

We absolutely loved the cabin, and the view. The bird life is wonderful and sitting on the balcony was peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely book again; it is private and the nature allows us the rewind even if we went for work. The room was cozy, with a lovely fireplace and the kitchen was everything you need.
