Vacation rentals with beach access in Makarska Riviera

What a find - this apartment in Makarska was spotless and within a few hundred yards of the beautiful beach and the start of many restaurants and bars. It was on the fourth floor (with a lift) and had some local parking and a private space 5 minutes walk away if needed. Great views of the mountains and the sea and despite being on the main road it did not matter as it was not too busy and not noisy at all. Air con in the main room and a feisty fan in the bedroom if needed. We were met by the host and given more information than we could digest. He recommended a number of local restaurants which we investigated and, on the whole, they were fantastic. Great steaks at Ranc, excellent fish at Bura, and the food and service at Diva was divine. 2 minutes walk from a bakery for take out breakfast and fresh bread - shop within 5 minute walk. If we return to Makarska, we would not hesitate to stay in the same apartment. Thank you to our hosts for their communication and assistance :)

Great and secure place - beautiful surroundings and views, great choice for those who have a car, beaches nearby, parking provided, apartment equipped with all the necessary things. It was convenient and cool to return there back every evening after exploring all the different towns and villages of Makarska Riviera and not only!

Uns hat das Apartment sehr gut gefallen! Der Ausblick auf das Meer und den Sonnenuntergang waren wunderschön! Das Apartment hatte alles, was man brauchte. Die Küche war super ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Das Sofa nebenan leider etwas hart. Die Badezimmer waren sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, die Dusche jedoch für 2m große Menschen etwas klein. Der Balkon war schön groß, mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und es gab die Möglichkeit Wäsche aufzuhängen. Die Schlafzimmer lassen sich gut abdunkeln. Hier könnte man nur mal knapp neue Bettdecken investieren. In wenigen Minuten ist man fußläufig am Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren auch nicht weit. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Apartment auch wieder buchen.

Al voordat wij aankwamen bij het appartement, had Jovica ons een duidelijke instructie gestuurd om het appartement binnen te komen. Tevens had zij ons al laten weten dat het zwembad wegens renovatie niet beschikbaar zou zijn en bood ons derhalve een financiële vergoeding aan. Vragen die wij over het appartement hadden, werden door Jovica snel beantwoord. Bij aankomst was het appartement schoon en verzorgd voor ons achtergelaten. Het balkon van het appartement ligt in de schaduw waardoor je daar in de namiddag prettig kan zitten voor avondeten of een spelletje. Het enige wat wij misten tijdens ons verblijf, was een koffiezetapparaat, maar met een supermarkt tegenover het appartement was dat niet een groot probleem. Wij raden dit verblijf zeker aan!

Cute flat with access to the rooftop terrace and very close to the beach. Antonella is lovely and very helpful. We were able to check-in early which was very much appreciated. We d love to come back!

Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Küche hat eine tolle Ausstattung. Leute vor Ort sehr nett und freundlich. Für die Terrasse mit Hofblick würde ich einen Deckeventilator empfehlen. Restaurants waren in der Umgebung gut zu erreichen. Der Weg zum Strand ist OK, wenn man nicht viel zum schleppen hat. Im großen und ganzen war es ein toller Aufenthalt, in einen super modernen Apartment.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Jure war immer erreichbar und hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung ist schön und sauber, das Bett ist super bequem! Zum Strand ist es nicht allzu weit. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und entspannt. Der Pool war toll! Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der tolle Ausblick! Wir würden definitiv wieder buchen! Vielen Dank :)

Aki nem szeretne millió emberrel együtt egyszerre hemzsegni, annak tökéletes a hely. Az apartman közel a bevásárló központokhoz( pl. LIDL)..., így nem kell mindent drágábban megvenned a belvárosban. Fedett, zárt parkolója van a közelben, ami nagy előny és nem ég szét az autód a napon!

Super séjour :) Jolie chambre calme avec balcon. La plage est à 5 min à pied. On peut facilement se garer aux alentours. Merci pour l'accueil.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa qui était juste magnifique !!! Tout était parfait, la beauté de la maison, la piscine, l'environnement (vue entre la montagne et la mer, on ne s'en lasse pas !). Nous avons été très bien accueillis, tout nous a été expliqué lors de notre arrivée. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortable. De plus, il y a de magnifiques criques à proximité ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter !!!!

Schöne Unterkunft, gut ausgestattet und tolle Aussicht. Beheizbarer Whirlpool ist ein klares Plus, auch wenn das Wetter mal schlecht ist. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Sehr guter Standard!

Si estas buscando alojamiento en Makarska no lo dudes ni un segundo, este es el bueno. Super atento y flexible host. Departamento super cómodo limpio e impecable. Super bien acondicionado.

We met by Ivan who was lovely, the apartment was very comfortable, beds were excellent and lovely new bathroom. Parking was available just across the road which was very easy to access. We could walk in 5 mins to the beach and restaurants. We would happily stay again and really appreciated the space for our stay, thank you, Warmest Janine & Nicole

Fantastyczne miejsce! Z pewnością będziemy chcieli wrócić. Wszystko zgodne z opisem, przepiękny widok z tarasu, parking przy budynku, 20m do plaży, pralka oraz suszarka dzięki czemu można wyprać rzeczy. Obok małe knajpki, sklep, zdecydowanie warto przyjechać tu na dłużej!

This accomodation was as good as it gets. Gorgeous apartment with stunning views with every amenity you could ask for. Just steps from shops, cafes and restaurants and the beach. Ivan and his wife were wonderful host. Their recommendations were perfect. Ivan even went over and beyond when he delivered my beloved hat to me at the bus stop (not exactly close) on our way off to our next adventure. If you are thinking of visting Brela this place should be your choice!

Such a gorgeous air bnb! We really enjoyed our stay here. Only a 30 minute bus from the city centre, you really can’t beat this location. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Definitely reccomend.

Increible apartment in Hvar. It was very near the main pier. The view outstanding and Francesco was incredibly kind with us sharind local recommendations and offering help at any time. We were 5 in the apartment and were really comfortable. Definetively a place I would like to visit again with my family!

We were looked after by Dina's cousin Antea, who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She looked out for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean and comfortable. The view down to the harbour from the living room window and outside seating area was lovely. It was a five minute walk down to the harbour with its selection of restaurants and a supermarket - a few more minutes walking back up because you have a slope to climb, but that should not deter anyone who is averagely fit. We took a water taxi from Lumbarda harbour right to the edge of pedestrianised Korcula Old Town, which cost 15 euros return and ran every 30 minutes. This was nicer than going by road and not too unreasonable considering that parking anywhere near the town costs 5 euros an hour. The Old Town is beautiful and a more relaxing, less touristy and so more atmospheric version of Dubrovnik with lots of nice art studios.

Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

Perfekte, vollständig ausgestattete Unterkunft. Sogar verschiedenste Waschmittel lagen parat, ebenso Grundlagen der Küche wie Kaffee, Zucker, Öle, Essig usw. Die Lage zwischen Supermarkt und Strand ist ein Traum. Alles modern, sauber und großzügig geschnitten. Die Bilder in der Wohnung sind ungewöhnlich und einen Blick wert 🤭. Bis auf den Parkplatz ist auch alles total unkompliziert. Um zum Parkplatz auf dem Innenhof zu gelangen, am besten in der Einbahnstraße gegen den Strich fahren wie die Einheimischen 😉 Kroatien ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert, Split besonders, und diese Unterkunft kann ich nur empfehlen 👍.

We really enjoyed our stay and agree that the balcony is the best place to enjoy coffee in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. Loved being able to quickly walk into town but also being away from the crowds a bit. The views were amazing, the apartment space was huge and we loved having a washing machine to do laundry. Ericka and her husband were so helpful with suggestion of where to eat and places to walk, to the amazing reference book in the apartment. Would definitely choose the apartment when in town!

This rental property is so great. Our family arrived overtired, soaked from the rain, not feeling well from a very rough catamaran ride from Dubrovnik, and we were so hungry. This accommodation turned it all around! They left us a box of pasta and red sauce (we were all beyond grateful) and a stocked kitchen with so many helpful and special and generous add-ons. Beds were comfy. There is a market very close by for immediate food and beverages. The view was beautiful. It's an easy walk to and from the Ferry Port of Hvar... and all of the fun places in town. We rented e-bikes from Antonio Rent... which we highly recommend... also not far from this airbnb. Exploring by e-bike is such an efficient and fun way to visit so many places in one day... then coming home to this airbnb for a solid place to sleep, was perfect. This airbnb and the bike tour were so instrumental in turning things around, and making Hvar our favorite stop in Croatia. Coffee machine is Top Notch!
