We had a great stay. The place and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Looked like the photos. Hostess was super friendly and helpful.

The house where the apartment is located is in the second row to the beach. There are many restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. The apartment is on the second floor and has a small balcony overlooking a well-kept courtyard with a large mango tree and many other plants. We enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable in the apartment.

This stay at Meera and Shana's was beyond my expectations... The hospitality, the kindness of the hosts, the very clean and spacious accommodation... everything was perfect! If you're looking for an authentic Mauritius atmosphere, away from classic tourism, this is the right place! I was traveling alone and without a vehicle, which is not a problem, bus stop nearby. Prairie Beach and Morne Brabant are within walking distance. Shana is adorable and gives you good tips for your trips, Meera does everything to ensure a comfortable stay, recommendation for a guide, (Jean) who will show you the must-see places inland and not to mention his culinary advice! If I come back to Mauritius, I'll definitely stay at Morne Village. A big thank you to Meera and Shana and her husband... I loved my stay with you! Hope to see you again here or in France.😘 I didn't have any noise issues, such as dog barking.

Everything was as expected by their previous reviews. Perfect clean apartment to our needs and nice little pool up on the roof. Large bed for us and nice smaller one for our boy. Pierre offered assistance if I had something to ask but everything was was well planned and written down beforehand. My warmest recommendations to all who want an affordable stay in Flic en Flac

I recently had the pleasure of staying Riva Sagara and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view of the island’s natural beauty. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The swimming pool was a fantastic addition, providing a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the tropical weather. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby beautiful beaches, shopping malls and local restaurants. The host (Fred) was incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring that all our needs were met. Overall, I highly recommend Riva Sagara to anyone looking for a serene and luxurious getaway in Mauritius.

Located in a cute fisher village along a scenic road. Very spacious and comfortable beds. Any groceries, cash withdrawals need to be done before (La Gaulette). Highlight is the terrasse and hope to come back soon for a longer stay.

Stayed at Bertrand’s place for 4 day with my children. Bertrand was an extremely helpful and kind host and even allowed for an earlier check-in which saved us a lot of hassle and meltdown from our children especially after a long flight!!! The house was relatively easy to find and is right on the bank of Black River in a quite neighbourhood. It had all the amenities as shared by Bertrand and anyone would require. The kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms/bathrooms were sparkling clean and the pool was refreshing after a day excursion! The area has a few good eateries and groceries store accessible by car. Overall a fantastic experience! Would surely visit again and recommend it 10/10!

Michel is an adorable host, always attentive and very responsive. He was able to offer us and recommend super cool activities We really enjoyed staying in his house, very comfortable with a breathtaking view of the sea, in a quiet area. very nice terraces, garden and pool available very nice. The pool is perfect to relax quietly, in a peaceful and very nice atmosphere. The villa is conveniently located: close to all amenities and with quick access to one of the main roads to explore the island without stress. Special mention to people who take care of the maintenance of the house, pool and garden — discreet, adorable and always smiling. Again a big thank you to Eric for his warm welcome, his availability, his good advice... and the kayaks for an unforgettable sea trip around Île aux Bénitiers! I would recommend it without a second thought!

Lovely villa with a nice pool, lush garden & direct access to the very long beach. Our kids loved feeding the giant tortoises, which live just behind the villa. Owners live nearby and are very nice - they brought us fresh home-growth mangoes. The place is peaceful, quiet, safe, private and virtually mosquito-free (we could peacefully chill in the terrace in late evenings). We especially enjoyed long evening walks along the beach stretching miles to both directions - it is very safe, hence we have also walked in the night counting stars. The "KOA" restaurant is withing the walking distance (along the ocean), while there are other restaurants & shops within the few minutes drive. The Black River National Park is in close proximity with its multiple hiking trails, lush forest & fascinating water falls. We really enjoyed our stay in this place and would definitely like to come back in the near future.

Julien is an amazing host. He was very accommodating and flexible and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this place, it is located right on the beach and restaurants , grocery stores are easily accessible by car. It was a tropical paradise, felt like home from home. You wake up hearing the ocean, incredible spot for sunset and has everything you need and more. Definitely will be staying here again, would highly recommend.

Rajesh's appartment has a beautiful view on the nearby river, you can even have a hint of the sunrise. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The appartment itself is quite convenient, with all amenities, and Rajesh and his wife were very kind to provide some drinks and foodstufs on our arrival. Probably one of the best options for a rental on the east coast.

We had a great time in the villa Les Dunes. The house is large (note, the master suite is far from the children's rooms, perfect when the children are not very young) and its location is very private. The terrace is very functional and the ocean view is stunning. The pool is very nice and very well maintained. Rati, who took care of us during the stay is a gem: preparation of breakfasts and a delicious meal every day, absolute luxury!! Great kindness and discretion, we couldn't have been better! The beach in front is accessible on foot directly from the house, be careful however it is not ideal for swimming (wind and waves, rocks, algae, a little pollution), but perfect for fishing, crab racing and beautiful shells!

Christopher and team was everything you can ask for and beyond. We arrived late but then the guard was informed that we were coming and had the key. The guard also took his time to show us the apartment and surroundings. The next day both Marianne and Christopher came by to check that everything was ok and to provide recommendations on things to do etc. All in all, everything matched our expectations and some things even above expectations such as there was a cooked meal and breakfast items provided in the fridge on our arrival and that fresh bread was deliver to our door every morning. Can highly recommend staying with Christopher as host.

Maria’s apartment is obviously a property used by herself. It made our stay easy as apartment from putting food in the fridge everything was there. Three aircon units and fans. Large water containers provided. Comfortable beds and a lovely balcony up with the coconuts. The view of the sea and the reef is stunning. The gate from the premises gave us immediate access to the beach and within 350 yards at least 19 restaurants with lovely food. Maria also put us in touch with a local taxi driver who also supplied hire cars. We had a lovely economical 4 door auto for £20 per day. Couldn’t have been happier.

what a gem of a place. easy parking, easy self access arrival. stunning beach right nearby. at the end of the flic en flac restaurant strip so perfect location really. perfectly serviceable supermarket with good opening hours in town too. ian answered all our questions and helped us out great!

Such a luxurious quiet apartment. We fitted with all our kids very comfortably and all slept so well every night for a week. Walkable to a great bakery, restaurants and cafe and the pool was so close to apartment which made it very easy. We will definitely be back again as the host and location and apartment were all amazing.

The apartment was dreamy. Better than the pictures. Like in Paradise. The hosts are very helpful. Supermarkets and restaurants are accessible by car. In the well-equipped kitchen, you can also cook wonderfully for yourself. Special plus: cleaned 3 times a week. Luxury! We were very satisfied.
