The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

La voiture Ford 7 passagers 4x4 est incluse avec la maison, sans frais.

I have a large 4 bedroom house, completely renovated in 2005. 3 queen beds 1 double bed. It is very modern with hardwood flooring all through, a large patio and gazebo. The gazebo can also be used as a guest house or, it can simply be used for dining or relaxation purposes with a view of the harbour & ocean. The house has a large bathroom with a stand-up shower, double sink, vanity and a large therapeutic bathtub.

Hospitality abound as you visit with the locals at the local wharf and sometimes even hitch a ride to fish some mackeral! A very quiet area with a rich history and stories of shipwrecks. Free firewood provided for the outdoor firepit as well.
