Bungalow vacation rentals in Mae Nam

Ein ganz besonderer Ort zum Abschalten! Die Unterkunft liegt an einem wunderschönen, sehr ruhigen Strand (lediglich eine Hand voll Leute) – perfekt für alle, die Ruhe und Natur suchen. Zum Schwimmen ist der Strand zwar weniger geeignet, da das Wasser sehr flach ist und man etwa einen Kilometer hineingehen müsste, bis es tief genug wird. Dafür stellt die Gastgeberin Izabella kostenlos ein Kanu zur Verfügung, mit dem man die Umgebung wunderbar erkunden kann. Izabella war unglaublich herzlich – sie hat uns sowohl bei der Ankunft als auch bei der Abreise persönlich begrüßt und war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Der Transfer vom Hafen zur Unterkunft (und zurück) war kostenlos und sehr komfortabel. Auch ein Motorroller kann ganz unkompliziert direkt zur Unterkunft geliefert werden. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist man ganz in der Nähe des Zentrums mit Märkten, Restaurants und kleinen Geschäften – perfekt, wenn man zwischendurch doch ein bisschen Tru

We were 2 adults and a 5 year old child. I chose the house mainly because of the large balcony and it was perfect with a child. The location by the small pond was great. As long as we had 2 mosquito coils on the balcony in the evening, we had no problems with mosquitoes. The house was very well maintained and was cleaned regularly by a housekeeper. Even when my daughter was ill, it didn't take an hour to get new bed linen. In general, requests were answered very quickly and if something was missing or broken (microwave), it was replaced very quickly. Even though I would generally recommend a scooter on Koh Phangan, supermarkets, restaurants etc. are very easy to reach by walk. The kitchen was well equipped and if something was missing, I got it afterwards. I will definitely book this house again next year. I have stayed in many houses on Koh Phangan, but there were always little things that made it less than perfect. This house was perfect for us

A beautiful location with a stunning view over the bay. We like this area for its tranquil nature and the fact that it is far from the busier areas of Koh Samui. Marc, Monie and Chili are blessed with the perfect location, and an ecologically sensitive approach to hosting. We appreciated the architecture of the buildings, the infinity pool and everything you need for a peaceful stay. We have no hesitation in recommending this place for a wonderful stay.

We stayed here from February 6 to 19, 2025, and I can confidently say this place deserves praise. The hotel, managed by Sebastian, left us with positive impressions. A spacious house, fresh renovations, peace, and proximity to an excellent beach create a relaxing atmosphere. If you have a bike, you’re all set! Parking for bikes and cars is a nice bonus. Sebastian is always available via phone and promptly resolves any issues. He helped us with a multicooker and printing tickets. The kitchen had everything: an induction stove, a large fridge, and great pots. Stable internet and nearby stores added convenience. We left a beach chair for future guests and replaced a broken glass with two new ones. :) It would be great to add cutting boards and more comfortable veranda chairs. A magnetic lock on the beach entrance at night would enhance security. Thank you, Sebastian, for the wonderful stay! We’ll definitely return.

Great place! Best if you plan to rent a motorcycle (I didn’t), but the beach is very close regardless. Be wary of insects and make sure to not keep any food out. The host was very responsive and helpful!!

Kims Bungalow war meine erste Unterkunft für meine Reise durch Thailand und ich kann ganz klar sagen, dass die Messlatte weit oben liegt. Nicht nur Kim selber ist eine Wunderbare Gastgeberin, mit der ich mich gerne unterhalten habe, sondern auch der Ort selbst hat pure Magie. Die Aussicht, das viele Grün, die ruhige See, mein Aufenthalt da hatte etwas bereinigendes für die Seele. Ich habe mich ab Moment 1 so wohl gefühlt und es hat keine 2 Tage gedauert da war das schon für mich mein Zuhause. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, danke Kim!

Pros: nice villa full équiped Clean and vast villa Nice decoration and nice swimming pool Owner and staff very helpful and fast to answer and solve any problem Nice welcome with food, water, fruit, bikes Calm and authentic area with some restaurant at 5 min by car Cleaning every 2 days Only 15 min to Elephant refugee/cobra show/waterfall Cons: a bit far to Chaweng/ fisherman village 40-50 min if you go there everyday it’s ok Big Noise from the roof (mangues which fall on the roof) but the owner will handle that Thank to you and to your team again for this wonderful stay.

Thank you Zarah for hosting us and letting us stay at your lovely little bungalow, we had the best time. The bungalow had everything we needed to see us through the stay and the visits from the local dogs was lovely....they were all very friendly and looked forward to seeing them return at night 🙂 Thanks for being so responsive and helpful when we needed you, very much appreciated. Great bungalow, lovely surroundings and walks close to small restaurants and the sunsets were beautiful. would definitely recommend a bike if you plan to stay, to help get around 🙂 Thanks again, we will be back!!

my wife and i had a wonderful ten days at beach villa. Villa was as described and really clean, the out door space, wow absolutely amazing, with very friendly neighbours, Communications were extremely good and Joanna went above and beyond especially when we managed to lock everything in the scooter lol thank you x, amazing restaurants and bars on the doorstep and the rest of the island not to far away for those who like to explore, would highly recommend and wouldn't think twice about returning, we were sad to leave
