We loved out weekend at the cabin. Located just up a hill from the beautiful St. Francis river, the cabin was comfortable and had good amenities. Had all we needed to make a good dinner on the grill. Beds were comfortable even if one was not quite long enough for an adult. The best thing was the nature, the solitude and the river. A very short drive to small towns with restaurants. Only 10 minutes to Millstream Gardens. A great value.

The riverbank is framed by tall trees with lush green foliage, providing natural shade. A wooden walkway leads to the water's edge, where the calm river reflects the surrounding vegetation, creating a serene outdoor setting. A peaceful spot for relaxation is visible along the bank.

Amazing little cabin on the St. Francis River! We enjoyed our little NYE winter getaway. The hot tub made the winter all the more enjoyable and relaxing. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked w everything we needed to cook various meals. Misty was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back again when the weather is warmer out!

This was my 4th time staying at Elaine’s and it was perfect as always. The home is always spotless and she always includes a few special touches (this time she left some great pasta for us to cook). It is such a peaceful and quiet place and is a wonderful getaway. Elaine always makes us feel welcome and can’t wait until my next visit!

Just used as base camp for hiking the surrounding area. Place was nice, clean had a great view of lake. would stay again. Beds were a lil firm but that was a plus for me. had a great night sleep. so much they were really communicative on us getting out a little late because I slept in a longer than I planned. hot tub was great

Spring Valley Ranch Rock House

We had an amazing time. Would love to come back again! There was 500 acres to walk on with the kids. We walked the river beds looking for rocks to skip. We even had a chance to check out the peaceful lake! The kids enjoyed flying kites on the prairie. Town was 10 min away. Elephant Park was 35 min away had a great time hiking and climbing the huge Red Granite.

From the time I saw the description of this place, I knew this was the place for our family to enjoy the eclipse. The reality was even better than described. Scenic and private.. home away from home. Loved it and Monica was the perfect host! Thanks for everything!

The cabin and surroundings were perfect for our family getaway--beautiful, tranquil, private, clean, and very comfortable! We enjoyed the river access, beautiful sunsets, stars and bird life. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. There was a lot of thought that went into the decorating and amenities inside the cabin that we appreciated and enjoyed including dvds, games and records. This is an air b&b gem!!

A covered outdoor living space features comfortable seating arrangements, including two chairs and a swing. A patterned area rug covers the floor, and a small table holds a plant. Nearby, a wooden fence offers privacy while allowing natural light to filter through.

I love everything about our visit to Fredericktown due to Jeni and her home. She definitely made everything very easy for me, as this is my first time in a Airbnb, and it will be the only way I travel from now on! I had a little trouble with the front door lock because it's new and extra secure. Jeni made sure we were able to get in easy for me and very fast. There were little dog treats left for my fur babies and plenty of toys as well! I love the covered patio and the fact my dogs were able to go in and out with ease. I definitely will be going back! I love the house and the neighborhood. Thank you Jeni for everything you are awesome!!!

St Francis River: The Blue Yurt and Hot Tub

The yurt was absolutely perfect! Beautiful view, plenty of room, had everything we needed in the kitchen, very nice separate bathroom. We had a very nice stay! The ONLY thing that I really have to say to potential guests is NOT to use the address generated by the AirBNB website. It is not accurate and had me out in the middle of nowhere. However, there are directions that the owners have put in their description that are correct (*if you’re smart enough to read them first and not just trust your GPS*). That being said, Lance and Shawn were both very patient with me when I called them and explained that I had gotten lost and immediately got me turned around and to where I needed to be. If you are looking for a nice little get away, I 10/10 recommend.

HOT TUB, Silver Bullet Tour Bus

We went to the silver bullet because we are a big fan of unique stays. It was super fun! There was lots of privacy and the hot tub was an amazing addition. It was only a moderate drive to elephant rock and Johnson’s shut ins. A really great quick getaway for both of us to try to unwind from wedding planning. The only issue that I had was the lack of tea options and the bus is not made for tall people. I am 6’3 and could not stand up straight anywhere except in the shower where there was a small roof jut out. I definitely hit my head a couple of times. Not a big deal, I’m pretty used to it. Also, the shower loses hot water really fast, so don’t plan on showering directly after someone or you’ll get the world’s coldest shower.

This was exactly what we needed and loved everything about it. The hosts were amazing and friendly and even got to see Almost Willie (worth checking him out). If you want to be with nature with a modern twist this is the place to go. We will be booking again in the future. LOVED IT 😍
