Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Madison County

My sister and I both live out of state and decided to meet here for a quick weekend visit. She brought her young daughter and I brought my two dogs. Jamon’s place was perfect for our stay. The large, fenced in yard was exactly what the dogs needed and was plenty big to play fetch in. The covered breezeway was especially helpful since it rained most of the weekend we were there. The interior of the home was spotless and so well-decorated/well-stocked. We felt completely at home. We cooked dinner the first night and got carry out from a local restaurant the second night. Very easily walkable to the uptown shops and college campus. We will definitely be meeting here again.

We live here in Berea and stayed here for 5 weeks while our house had renovations being done. Here are the top things we appreciated during our stay: The Hosts: We were offered very good instructions and the hosts were very kind and helpful. There was some communication during our stay and the host was prompt and a pleasure to deal with during these communications. I cannot overstate how comforting this is. The House: It was everything you could ask for in a stay: clean, comfortable and fully functional. Most of our stuff was in storage, but we thrived while staying here. The Pet Friendliness: Truly this is number one. The love of pets here is obvious from the get-go. We adore our pets and to see the added detail for them was nothing short of awesome. The fenced yard was perfect. I highly recommend this home for people coming to Berea and bringing their pets. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

This was an amazing place to stay. Everything was thought out and executed to a T. The house was very livable with many upgraded amenities. I would, without hesitation recommend to friends and family. Wayne was responsive and quickly addressed all questions. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in!

My Old Kentucky Home hosted by Shane was a wonderful place to stay! The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The amenities on site were amazing. The hot tub and pool were all set and ready for our group when we arrived, which we appreciated greatly. Communication was great, and Shane was on top of everything. Our stay was wonderful and we would love to come back for another visit! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Lexington area.

Harrison was an amazing Host! The house was immaculate and had everything you could want to feel at home and relax. This is a premier spot to take your family for Visiting the gorgeous and historic Lexington. Thank you so much for an amazing place to gather as we celebrated our son’s graduation.

We had the most amazing stay. The cabin and area is beautiful. Locals in town were great and so friendly. Our final night we had a campfire, roasted marshmallows and enjoyed the lightning bugs. Would love to visit again.

It was a great place to stay pool is on smaller side but worked great with the two kids. Game room was great had fun playing shuffle board and cornhole. All the arcade games worked. Hot tub was great and had a nice set up by the pool. Fenced in pool/lounge area. Not many outside bugs and only had a some ants but that is expected staying in the country. We had the toilet handle break just from wear and tear and they sent a plumber out first thing next day to fix it. Great response time from the host. Over all a great place close enough to red river gorge to explore. Will be a place we stay at again.

We enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Paradise. Sonya is a wonderful host, very friendly and accomodative. I loved Axle and Bailey, as well as the other dogs. The property is beautiful, and I love the new Barndo rental that she is now offering, which she let us tour. I would recommend staying with Sonya, she is great! The property is also close to the Red River Gorge, which is a plus for anyone that wants to enjoy what the Gorge has to offer. This would be a great place to enjoy with a big group, whether it be family or friends, as there are 3 separeate rentals that could accomodate your group. We plan to stay again.

This barndominium was a perfect spot for our group's annual golf trip. The living areas were incredibly spacious, the covered outdoor patio was a great size for hanging in the rain or sunshine, and there were plenty of beds on which to rest our heads. The property was well described and met all of our expectations, and its seclusion in the Kentucky horse fields added a memorable ambiance to the weekend. It was also nice to have easy driving access to Midway, Lexington, and even Louisville for a nice day trip. We would highly recommend this place to anyone gathering with a large group of friends or family.

We loved our stay on the farm! The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids were thrilled with all the animals and especially enjoyed visits from the friendly Great Pyrenees dogs. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t smell like a farm at all! Sandy and Martin were so friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. We also bought some of the farm’s sausage, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for a unique and enjoyable experience!

LOVE this place. It’s our second stay in a different suite than the first and I just couldn’t recommend it more. We love the horses and the addition of the goats. We’ll be back and hope to try a pastry or ice cream!!

Nicura Ranch is wonderful in so many ways. My dog Molly & I have visited numerous times (and we sometimes bring other friends and family). We stayed in the Palomino Suite this time. Spotless, cozy and complete with all amenities needed, not to mention farm fresh eggs in the fridge when you arrive & freshly baked muffins in the lobby/common area in the morning. There is a little something for everyone which makes it the perfect getaway. At Nicura, you can entertain yourself in the billiards room or the movie room (complete with popcorn station). You can unwind in the fitness center or sauna. You can stroll around the grounds, including treating your pup to the puppy paddock play area. Or you can read & unwind in your suite. For animal lovers, the resident goats Cinnamon & Ginger are often there to greet you, if you choose to visit the stables. And in the evening, Laura and Nick warmly welcome everyone interested to come and visit their 3 beautiful horses, Bubba B, Lady & Beans.

Hosts were very helpful and responsive, and there was lots of space; a much better option than a hotel! It was a little musky on the main level but it was a great value overall.
