Brand new house, just finished.

JoannaRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Our family of 4 had a fantastic week at Samson’s house. It has a splendid view over the ocean and the mountains and is a short walk to the beach. The house is comfortable and spacious with two good bathrooms and plenty of living space. Samson was very responsive, the place was kept spotlessly clean, and Mighy, the local manager was very helpful. We’d love to stay there again!

Guest House ChezSoa Antananarivo Madagascar

PatriceRating, 5 stars71 months ago
--- English version / Français suit --- We just spent almost 3 months (March-June) at la Villa ChezSoa during the adoption process of our daughter. We rented the main house for all the duration of our stay (3 bedrooms with bathrooms, including hot water, living room, dining room, office & kitchen). We much appreciated our stay and the Villa offers several interesting advantages for a couple like us: plenty of space, outside the noisy suburbs of Tana, very nice gardens (fuits & flowers), security (windows, wall around the property, security night guards) and naturally the magnificent swimming pool and its attending pool house. Also the Villa is situated on the top of a small hill, offering a nice view of Tana and the surrounding rice fields, and providing fresh air far from the polluted Tana. Next to the villa is a calm pine wood, and during the day it is possible to have walks in the neighborhoods (but not with a stroller, rather a lambawan). It was possible for us to have a good internet connection, with extra price, in order to have Skype/FaceTime meetings with the family abroad. Mrs Fara, our host, greeted us warmly and was very helpful in preparing all of our breakfasts and most of our dinners. The very high quality of her cooking certainly participated in our appreciation of our stay in Tana. The breakfasts were copious (with magnificent fruit juices), and we opted mostly for the Malagasy type of dinners (comfort food) but had once a week a French-type dinner (upclass). Mrs Fara and her family were devoted to make our stay great. Melina, Lalau and Julio (maids and gardener) also help us much for house and laundry cleaning, cleaining dishes. We regularly went to the Jumbo and Leader Price stores (within 15 mins by car) to buy food, get some Ariarys from the ATM, and use their fully equipped kid garden. For our daily trips, we rented the car and the services of Mr Lova (Nissan 12 places van) for all of our stay. His service was devoted and exemplary: he was never late, and was good at finding the fastest way around the everlasting traffic of Tana. We made several trips within 200 km of Tana with him, and he was always efficient and devoted. On the less interesting sides of our stay: low electrical voltage resulting in poor lighting conditions in the kitchen during evenings, a basic refrigerator (we bought ice to help it when it was above 27oC outside), and a feeling of being a bit isolated from Tana's downtown activities. Thanks a lot Fara for this very nice stay at ChezSoa.

Maison Moderne Hauts Plateaux

LiantsoaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The apartment is spacious and located in a great area near the city center, with a supermarket and several restaurants just a short walk away. The host was always responsive. One big plus for us was the excellent Wi-Fi — very reliable and super useful during our stay. Also worth mentioning: while Antananarivo often deals with water and power outages, this apartment didn’t have any issues at all, which we truly appreciated.
