Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Madagascar

Sainte Marie is an amazing place. The house was great. We arrived on the ferry and we were picked up straight at the harbour and taken to the house. The caretakers were super helpful and friendly. It's only a minutes walk to main road where you easily be picked up by a passing TukTuk. There were 7 of us and it was perfect. I would recommend this place for a family or a group of friends.

What an experience! You aren’t just booking a place to stay. From the moment you land at the airport, the team is there to meet you and take care of you. Jimmy, the driver, is an expert at navigating the challenging roads. Angelo, the manager, is an absolute pro and takes note of everything you like/dislike and builds every day/activity to suit you without prompting. Just seamless and fantastic. Katrina keeps the house spotless, makes amazing cocktails and greets you from a long ride with a cold face towel. Antonio makes the kitchen run smoothly. Loris was our top guy as he speaks flawless English and is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He is also the chef and plans each 3 course meal to perfection. It’s really gourmet cooking - without exaggeration. -they have starlink internet - we chose to go on excursions from the house each day. La villa est superbe, un peu excentrée d'Ampefy, mais garantit un calme parfait. Très propre, bien aménagée, tout le confort nécessaire. L'équipe sur place est au top, très disponible, communication fluide. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

La maison et l'emplacement sont exceptionnels, nous avons passé un sejour de rêve. Attention, il est très difficile de repartir de ce petit coin de paradis et de tranquillité. Acces rapide au charmant petit village voisin en 5 minutes a pieds. Livraison de poissons, calamars et crabes frais quasiment tout les matins au pieds de la maison. Excellente adresse!

Our family of 4 had a fantastic week at Samson’s house. It has a splendid view over the ocean and the mountains and is a short walk to the beach. The house is comfortable and spacious with two good bathrooms and plenty of living space. Samson was very responsive, the place was kept spotlessly clean, and Mighy, the local manager was very helpful. We’d love to stay there again!

Nous étions en famille (5 adultes et 1 enfant de 2 ans), et avons passé un super séjour. Le logement est propre, fonctionnel (lit bébé et chaise haute disponible) et paisible. Le jardin est très agréable. Pour accéder à la maison après la route principale goudronnée, il y a un passage d’environ 10 min sur route non goudronnée, ça secoue un peu mais ça se fait bien en tuk tuk (ou scooter/moto). Il est utile sur place d’avoir un téléphone, idéalement je recommande le réseau Orange. Slyvio, le contact sur place, est disponible et sympathique. Yasmine est une excellente cuisinière (service repas possible, en option). Le rapport qualité/prix est imbattable, bref : je recommande complètement ! Merci à toutes les gentilles personnes rencontrées qui ont participé à ce chouette séjour.

Superbe villa dans une lieu paradisiaque. Personnel au top. Anna la cuisinière et Romuald notre tutuk sont des personnes exceptionnelles par leurs services et leurs gentillesses. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés .

Un super cadre, hôtes accueillants et de bons conseils Néanmoins, on a constaté l’absence de certaines commodités nécessaires pourtant mentionnées dans l’annonce mais qui divergent avec la réalité On a passé un bon séjour dans l’ensemble, on reviendra !

Très belle villa en bord de plage , très bien entretenue par la jeune fille employée de maison , une personne discrète de grande qualité , il y a deux grandes chambres climatisées , avec salle de bain chacune , un coffre fort dans l'une d'elle , un joli jardin tropical , accès direct à la mer par le jardin , bonne connection internet , villa sécurisée par des volets roulants , on peut gagner les villages qui se touchent , de Dar es Salam , Madirokely et Ambotoloaka , soit par la plage , soit par les ruelles style favela qui partent de l'arrière de la maison , avec un peu d'habitude , on apprend vite à se repérer, vous pourrez aussi nourrir les chiens et chats très affamés du quartier .Il manque juste un groupe électrogène pour que tout soit parfait.

There are two second floor and two first floor apartments. We stayed in one of the second floor apartments, which have kitchens (the first floor ones do not). Everything we needed to cook was there. There is a restaurant just up the road that you can call or text that delivers if you don't want to cook. The photos are accurate. The room was cozy and comfortable and spacious enough although the bathroom is bit small. The view was fantastic from the large porch. The porch of the two second floor apartments is shared, but there is a divider so you have complete privacy. The beach is long and cresent shaped great for walking. There is a surfing school right next door if you'd like to try. The instructor is a Malagasy man named Joe. Very friendly. Lydie, the manager, was one of the best parts of our visit. She is amazing! So friendly and helpful! She went out of her way to make us feel at home. She's a gem! Definitely a place that I would like to return to.
