We had the chance to meet Joel & Randy during our stay which was the cherry on the cake. Finally, we were given very useful advises and felt like family. If you want a genuine Bedouin experience with a real family and at the same time to have privacy and comfort, this is the place to stay. Surrounded by canyon in a Bedouin village, right next to Petra (ca 5 min by a car), offering a delicious locally made food, clean rooms and spotless bathroom... Hosts are both lovely, speak good English, and my cat and I were well taken care of.

The location is great because it is not in the very touristic area, it feels very authentic. Wafa’a was a great host and the breakfasts on the terrace were amazing with nice views on the surrounding mountains and hills. Well situated to explore Petra, recommend taking two days to make the most of it !

Every time we want to visit Wadi Rum, we come to Salem's camp. He has always taken good care of us and this was no exception. Great value for money, but also you will have abundant experiences if you choose for a jeep tour - which we did! Salem took good care of us, our needs and prepared a delicious dinner and breakfast, including Bedouin-style tea.
