The Brookside Cabin

Our Cabin is nestled in the woods of the Adirondack Mountains. The Cabin is behind our family home. We are on a country road close to two towns. Our area offers many amenities such as fishing, hiking, boating, golf, hunting , wine tasting, leaf peeping. The cabin is heated by a wood stove and is the only heat source. “Wood Stove will injure a small child. Fast moving water in brook. Children 7 and up is ok with pre approval. The outside shower is heated, hot water available mid April -Nov.

Comfortable apt. in its own building on 50+ wooded acres near Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Whiteface Mtn. Miles of walking trails. Great road biking. Large, private screened porch; Tempurpedic queen bed; full kitchen, big LR & cozy recliners. We now have covered parking for one car! We are only 20 minutes from Whiteface ski area and nearby hiking and mountain biking trails as well as lakes and rivers for swimming and paddling. There are trails on the property for walking and snowshoeing.

Close to SUNY and CCC campuses and UVM/CVPH hospital. Airport is 5 minutes away. Lake Champlain and boat basin are only a 5 minute walk. Lake Placid, Burlington and Montreal are an hour or less away. Plenty of parking for vehicles and anglers with their boats. Lots of local history to explore.

Tyler was an amazing host! He made us feel right at home! My boyfriend and I love the trees and this was the perfect place to stay we felt like we can have a private place to go to after a long day that was nice and cozy as well as being near Lake placid and Keene if we wanted to go out and have fun! Tree house is only 15 min drive from Lake Placid! Beautiful area and amazing Tree house definitely recommend!

We had another great stay at Kate Mountain Farm. This is a beautiful, interesting, and original place to stay located on a working farm. Waking up in the unique upstairs loft bedroom with a view of the sunrise hitting the pine trees never gets old. It is an excellent alternative to staying in Lake Placid or Saranac Lake, with the beauty of the woods and hiking nearby, and easy driving access to all that the high peaks of the Adirondacks have to offer. The place was spotless as usual, with many goodies provided to make your stay a nicer experience. Thank you Aaron!

Another annual anniversary celebration at Heron Pointe @ Silver Lake, and it was spectacular once again! Mary and Paul always make sure that our visit is incredible, and they are terrifically thoughtful with special treats, as well as a welcome basket that immediately makes you feel right at home. The space itself is wonderfully inviting, with every possible amenity you could think of…and then some! Breathtaking sunsets and lakeside coffee in the morning were just the start of it, with many terrific hikes nearby. And the amazing views from the studio made even a rainy day an outstanding vacation day. Truly the best space with the most superb hosts—and we’re already planning for our next visit! Thank you so much, Mary and Paul!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at the camp. It was such a beautiful, peaceful, and idyllic setting where we could walk, hike, enjoy the sunsets and fire pit, and relax on the the screened in porch. It was a great base for a couple of day trips as well short drives to St. Albans and the Burlington area for dining. Everything was very well done and as advertised.

Every detail in the cabin was so well thought out and perfectly put together, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
