House vacation rentals in Luxembourg District

We spent a few days at this wonderful place last week, and it was truly a dream. We were looking for peace and rest, and we found exactly that—and so much more. The atmosphere is calm and soothing, the surroundings are beautiful, and the space itself is incredibly comfortable and cozy. The view and the nature around us felt like a dream come true. We felt deeply connected to the environment, and even though the pictures are beautiful, they simply can’t capture the feeling of actually being there. It’s something you have to experience for yourself. The hosts were absolutely lovely—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth and stress-free, which made everything even more enjoyable. We’re extremely happy with our stay and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended if you need to recharge in a peaceful, welcoming environment!

Contact and reception were very friendly. Suitable for large families. Children and adolescents were able to keep themselves busy very well with the available toys and equipment, such as pool table, kicker, table tennis in the building. Great covered barbecue and fireplace available. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Backesgarten.

We spent 3 days in this cottage with 2 couples. We had a great time. Beautiful cottage and especially outside really very nice with the jacuzzi, sauna and the bbq. Our partners were on the motorcycle and did several beautiful tours in the area. We would recommend this accommodation.

The accommodation was perfect, very clean, faithful in every way to the photos. Joseph was very available and particularly attentive! The small cookies and homemade cake were a delicate surprise when we arrived! Everything was beautiful, functional, and really enjoyable. We had a great stay at this house – it was really well equipped, very clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The landlord was extremely friendly, helpful and eager to make us feel completely comfortable. The outdoor area was also designed with a lot of dedication and invites you to linger. Of course, you can see small cultural differences between German and French handwriting in the design, but it has its own charm. Overall a very nice place to stay with warm hospitality – recommended!

I think it's one of the most beautiful homes I've found on Airbnb. attention to detail in the decoration amenities patio garden dinner reserved for the evening (a beautiful platter of charcuterie) everything is neat, pleasant and it's quiet it's really a pleasure the hosts are extremely kind and give good advice I'd love to come back if I get the chance. bonus point for towels and bathrobes that are large and that for me as a tall person fit very well .... and that's rare i recommend 1000%

With our group of friends, we greatly enjoyed this accommodation. Everything was spotless and there was plenty of space. It was quietly located with fun activities nearby. We stayed there for a weekend but we could certainly have stayed longer. Host is very responsive and proactive. Thank you so much. We enjoyed it.

Philippe is a superhost. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything. It feels like you're home. The garden is also beautifully landscaped. This was a great find. It is in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, with a beautiful backyard and field behind. The host was very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect for getting to Bastogne and Luxembourg to see WWII sites, and you're very close to Arlon with grocery stores and great restaurants. The ammenities here were great as not many places in the region have bed linens, bath towels and washer/dryer included. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again if we're back in the area.

A spacious, beautiful vacation home in natural seclusion, stylishly attached to a chic, restored train station building. The railway line is barely noticeable through soundproof windows. Top accommodation from professional and friendly landlords.

Mayke is a great host, very responsive and very friendly and re-active for any small extra things needed throughout the stay. the old renovated farmhouse has a cosy, unique touch, good for a family, great space. upstairs is a swing installed, the kids loved it. Location was great if you like to experience the tranquility and peacefulness of a small luxembourg village. you probably are better off to have a car, because there is not so much around in the immediate vicinity. also parking can occasionally be a bit cumbersome when the recommended places (e.g. Gemeng, bar) are fully parked due to certain events. Overall, a nice and very unique place, great with the family (no TV!) to enjoy the luxembourg country side. thanks Mayke!

Great place, clean and spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay

In a very beautiful village, the accommodation is very nice, large, a family cocoon. The services are of high quality, with small touches (toothbrushes and toothpaste in a bag for everyone). I recommend it.

The stay was really great! The house has everything you need and has a super nice garden. Thierry is very nice. We went with 4 friends. Nearby it is very quiet and a bakery is a half hour walk. If you come for the peace and quiet and each other, I would definitely recommend this stay

Nicolas’ place is a small slice of heaven! We were a school group of 7; the students loved the hot tub and darts and different bedrooms. Great proximity to the memorials in Bastogne. Highly recommend for any group, especially Americans visiting the war museum and memorials.

Simply beautiful home with many artistic touches. Rural, peaceful and walkable setting not far from Vielsalm and Bastogne. Much to see in the area and much natural beauty. Regret that we did not have a few more days to spend there and get to know our hosts. What they have built is truly special.

Our stay was really very nice! We were able to take a break for two and found everything we needed at Didier's. There was plenty of information about the possibilities of doing something, but also about having a three-course menu delivered to the apartment. If we had any questions, we could reach Didier at any time and he was very accommodating and friendly as a host. We are completely satisfied and will definitely come back.
