Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lusaka

We stayed at the apartment while on transit in Lusaka and had a comfortable stay . Charity was helpful with the check-in and ensuring we had everything we needed. The place is a tad far from the CBD but within 15 minutes drive to most malls . There are a couple of restaurants in the vicinity.

I had a wonderful stay at Whiteson’s place! The home was comfortable and welcoming, and I truly appreciate the time and effort they took to assist me with things I was asking about. It made my stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, having the opportunity to share a lovely dinner at their place was enjoyable experience. A very responsive host, ensuring a very neat house. The Zambian electricity company ZESCO threw her quite some challenges with the many occasions of load shedding. The load shedding meant the generator had to be started, also ensure the availability of water - overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We have been traveling in Zambia for quite a few years and this is, by far, the best place we have ever stayed in. The house is extremely well constructed, clean, safe, and very comfortable. Noreen and her husband were very welcoming and extremely helpful, always making sure that everything is working properly and providing alternative solutions when needed (power cuts). The place is beautiful and very peaceful. You’ll need a car to stay there, but if you don’t mind driving, Leopard’s Hills is a great neighborhood.

Virginia is an exceptional host—accessible, approachable, and highly supportive. She maintained open lines of communication throughout our stay and was always available to assist whenever needed. Spending Christmas in Lusaka was made even more memorable when she surprised us with a thoughtful gift and a card. Truly a remarkable and rare host!

This place is awesome! Three spacious bedrooms, each with nice en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen and lounge are perfect. She did an amazing job mitigating the infrastructure challenges--robust inverter/battery/solar (including a backup to the backup!), pressure pump for water and battery-powered pedestal fans. Kindly provided some tea, coffee, milk, soap and drinking water. I wasn't expecting a maid to be in and out cleaning up after us. She was completely pleasant and not a problem, just that I was initially surprised. As long as you are expecting it and don't mind someone in your space, you will love her. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. The location was perfect, close to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, toiletries, and a fully equipped kitchen. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Lusaka was indeed home away from home🤗
