We are Peter and Karen with a one bedroom cottage on a working farm sharing a garden with our house It has its own separate entrance and verandah. Lounge/kitchen/dining room and a separate bedroom (Double bed) and shower room. We have 2 friendly dogs and 3 cats that share the garden. Own transport is required a 4x4 ideally between November to March. We are near to the Lusaka Polo Cross club and opposite the entrance to Multi Facility Economic Zone (MFEZ) and the new Lusaka National Park.

My family and I had a great time staying at Martha’s place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with the host and the staff was smooth and prompt. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The house was clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We highly recommend Martha’s Sweet Nyumba. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

There are points that speak for this place. Firstly, the accommodation is very quiet and the hosts are very friendly and will involve the guest in their everyday life if desired (together Sami food). The room was good, at first there were difficulties with the electrical connections and Wi-Fi, but they were fixed sufficiently quickly and easily. The room was clean and simply furnished (no TV). The highlights are the quiet and very private location as well as the interior of the family. I immediately felt comfortable and was able to participate in the everyday life of the family without being disturbed by myself (impressively the family together Zambian food). The location is also the difficulty ... you have to find it. Moses is very helpful and always available by phone. This accommodation is recommended for Germans, as Moses has connections to Germany, learns German.

Peaceful , Comfort and Luxurious

This was a beautiful home in a very nice neighborhood (we felt safe running and walking before dark). This location requires a car to get to grocery stores or restaurants, the closest being Twin Palms, about a 10 minute car ride away. Approximately 30 minutes to Arcades and EastPark Malls, depending on traffic. The hosts are great communicators, very responsive to requests, and supplied many provisions upon our arrival including bottled water, toilet paper, and various grocery items. In the winter, the house is chilly and like most homes in Zambia, there is no heater, so warm clothes for sleeping are a must! Very clean home with a lovely kitchen for cooking.

As a host, Talitha is the best! This is the 3rd time we have chosen this Airbnb and it feels like home away from home. She offers transportation to and from the airport and is very helpful with any needs or questions. We enjoyed plenty of privacy with our own bedroom and private bath as well as quiet shared space. We highly recommend Talitha’s Airbnb for good value and comfort.

The entire location was great extremely clean, and was very safe, everything that you would want was there and and near proximity. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and it felt just line home!

Nikhil, the host, is just the loveliest guy you’ll meet. He was so accommodating and made me feel right at home the 3 weeks I stayed. He was very mindful of covid measures - giving me a bottle of antibac, spraying down surfaces and social distancing. Of course another delight was little Bella - the cutest little sausage dog who was also a wonderful companion during my stay. Will miss her greatly.

I had a great stay here and it suit my needs perfectly. The staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much problem. My room was spotless and the bed exceptionally comfy. The surrounds most of the time were nice and quiet and the location was fairly central for what I needed. Highly recommended.

The Estate is absolutely beautiful! Children friendly as well as adult friendly. It's a very peaceful place and quiet. We had guests over that came with loud music. The hosts willingly heard our request and asked them to tone it down. I do think if you come to Hanlo's Estate that you strive to keep it as peaceful and serene as you found it. Also the food is 12/10!!! Amazing! 🙌🏿
