This home was beautiful! It was perfect for our team away day. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and Danielle was always available to answer our questions.

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden! The house is beautiful, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for a big group. Beautiful kitchen and dining area. We were expecting the pool to be open, but were informed the day before that it was not ready yet, which was unfortunate. There was still a hot tub, which was nice. Waterfront is great. Location is very private, but further than expected from Halifax. Overall awesome place, would recommend. Priced as expected for the size of house.

It was a place like more than a home. Feeling of residing in a resort. We liked very much. In future when ever we plan to visit this side we will see that we come and relax in the place

He went above and beyond for us given the tight timeline, was very attentive, provided clear instructions and was more than willing to help with unforeseen circumstances. My team had nothing but phenomenal things to stay about not only the property, but the property owner as well. We give a glowing recommendation for anyone interested in this property in the future

Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

Nancy's backyard Brooke home was gorgeous when we first walked in you could tell that it was very clean we loved all the plants it was very spacious beddings were very clean and comfortable both washrooms were very clean downstairs was very surprising had a small gym lots of board games one of the largest TVs I've ever seen great for movie Nights the kitchen was fully equipped it was easy access Nancy even got my mom a bottle of wine for her birthday celebration honestly the host was great we had no issues it wasn't as private as we would like as my mother is a very heavy smoker but the backyard was amazing the deck was super large the pool was amazing she had lots of furniture the only thing that would have made the rental even better is if she had a hot tub because the pool was cold this late in the season and it would have been nice to get into a nice warm hot tub after the swim I had no complaints about the rental I only wish Airbnb gave me more space to write a better review

We stayed at Mark's Place for two weeks of remote work and vacation and it was great! The location is just secluded enough to feel like you've gotten away but it's also an easy and pretty drive to Lunenburg for shopping and dining. We enjoyed watching the tides change from the living room couch and from the hot tub. Also, Mark's Place is fully stocked. It had every upscale item imaginable in the kitchen and each bathroom had its own set of towels, hairdryer, etc. It was also easy to communicate with Mark and his cleaning team and - for those who care - the WiFi was able to handle multiple laptops, phones and other devices without fail. As an added bonus, during our stay, we saw many different birds in the water and on the lawn, a deer family and a porcupine family.

The house was amazing. Very remote and quiet. But only 30 minutes to busier locations with shopping, restaurants, etc. Within 10 minutes, RoseBay Bistro & Market and Dear Emma Pizza (incredible!) provide all you need otherwise. The beach is incredible. Sitting in the chairs at the edge of the beach, over the dunes, is the perfect spot for morning coffee or a happy hour cocktail! The house design is like a piece of art - the many levels and nooks make it a very unique experience. It is well furnished with all sorts of things you might want to enjoy your stay. Very thoughtful. We look forward to a return visit.

You will not be disappointed with this gorgeous well appointed home. We had 12 family members with us and we had plenty of space for everyone ! We were very comfortable in every room. The beds are wonderful with lovely bedding. The views from this home are extra special. Particularly the partially covered upper deck. We watched osprey and eagles flying over water from the comfortable outdoor furniture We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the evenings. Adele’s house was cozy and clean, and was well-located for drives into nearby Lunenburg (10 minutes away). The house was freezing cold when we first arrived because someone had left all the windows on the second floor open, but it warmed up quickly once we closed them all. As a host Adele was wonderfully friendly and responsive, and we really enjoyed our stay.

My favorite airbnb ever! So clean and comfortable and well-stocked, also really beautifully decorated. Private but also a convenient location. I loved greeting the animals at the farm next door every morning and hanging out on the beach or in the garden. Angie & Scott were super helpful and welcoming. I hope I can stay again!

Excellent house for our family of four—lots of space, comfortable beds, two bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen with plenty of basics, and even coffee creamer in the fridge so we didn’t have to find a grocery store right away. There’s a big TV and board games for downtime. Both bathrooms are nice and clean with good water pressure. We like to walk, so we enjoyed walking to the shops and restaurants (but it might be a bit far for some). Either way, it’s close to the waterfront and easy access out of town to hit the beaches. There are plenty of towels, extra sheets and pillows, and a cupboard full of “just in case” things. Especially helpful if you fly in to Nova Scotia and can’t bring everything with you. It reminded me a bit of going to Grandma’s house for the weekend—if Grandma was cool and liked to meditate and rock climb. Thanks for a great stay, Tyler!

Whitecaps Cabana was WONDERFUL!! The location was super cool - up on a hill over looking the river. And on the other side of the hill, private access to the beach! The home itself is so sweet and well appointed. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the screened in porch on the main level as well as a glass of wine in the evenings. The upstairs is PHENOMENAL - chairs for lounging, table for eating, barbeque and sink for cooking/cleaning and a day bed with mosquito netting! It was beyond magical! Highlights: Came 'home' to 5 deer grazing in the front lawn. Sand Dollar beach is 8 minutes down the road. The free handy-dandy cable ferry to LaHave (and beyond). Highly recommend! 10/10

We have stayed in this home before and it’s absolutely stunning. So much space and so beautifully decorated. Hard to believe an older home could be so convenient and up-to-date. Thank you again for another lovely stay. Great view and location!!

A perfect quiet and special cottage getaway on the lake! It was exactly what we wanted and needed after a few days on the road with our kids. We settled in immediately, cozy, clean, and modern design. Morgan and team were always available to us as needed, accommodated our check in time, and shared info as needed. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Lynn’s was excellent! The home and surroundings are beautiful—definitely peaceful, very quiet. We cooked in a bit since restaurants are a drive and everything needed was onsite. Lynn was an extremely responsive host and shared helpful info about the greater area, too. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the home!

From the moment we arrived at this charming cottage, we were blown away by the breathtaking view. It made every sunrise and sunset feel magical. The amenities were equally impressive. The cottage was clean, and beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed - from a fully stocked kitchen to linens and even games for a rainy day. The location was fantastic, as we were just minutes away from local grocery stores and a mix of eateries - perfect for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely dinner. Plus, the area is packed with sightseeing adventures and historic landmarks to hidden gems we discovered along the way. This place felt like home away from home and we can’t wait to go back again!

The house was beautiful and perfectly suited our needs! The beds were comfortable, the heat was perfect and we felt at home. Matthew and Billy were extremely responsive and we were satisfied with everything and their resolution of a small issue we had! We will be going back to stay here again for sure!

Beautiful lake front property and the sun room/living room is amazing...especially in the morning. You could sit and watch the ducks play and swim all day. Small outdoor deck off the sunroom is perfect for quiet morning sunrises also. Was easy to find as it's just off the main road and only a 15-20 min drive to groceries, take out/dine in, or that morning Tim's coffee. Main Queen size bed was comfortable and linens were clean. We had an amazing time and would recommend this place as a nice lakefront escape but not buried away in the woods. 5 star all the way and we would book here again.
