Waterfront vacation rentals in Lumberland

I was looking for some quiet after a stressful few months and something of a view. I love the water so I picked this place and it want a far drive from me. I felt at home and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could think of which was great because I really wanted to bake for myself and just do a great self care weekend which I did. Me and my pup got to have some alone time and hang by the water across the street at the gated off little beach. Hung out in the hammock and sat on the boat launch. Exactly what I needed. Definitely coming back !

Alice is a great host, and her place was absolutely what we were looking for. Beautiful views of the lake, that presented us with an exquisite sunset. The place was cozy, clean, very peaceful, and it met all of our expectations. We look forward to returning during a different time of the year.

This was just what we needed. A nice escape from the city. The lake is gorgeous and the quiet was phenomenal. Not gonna lie the steps are a workout, but since that was the only con, it was a totally worth it. Besides, meant I didn’t have to worry about missing workouts. The apartment was so cute and cozy. Everything was super clean. When I had any questions, they were answered immediately. Thank you so much for a great stay.

This place was absolutely beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for. Clean studio right on the lake, nothing better than waking up and looking out onto the frozen lake from bed.

Host was very responsive and proactive. We experienced a brief loss of power and they reached out immediately to check in and make sure our stay was not aversely affected. Nice tranquil setting on a dead end road with very little vehicle traffic.

We had a wonderful three-month stay here at the lake. The setting was beautiful and Elmir was a fantastic host. I especially liked watching the people enjoying the lake when it was frozen over, and the Buffleheads and other diving ducks after the ice was gone.

Johns place was perfect for a little getaway. Our dog loved it as much as we did. We walked around the lake with stunning views (especially around fall season) and the fireplace is great for doing s’mores at night. Dasha was absolutely amazing, friendly and always reachable if anything.

Excellent stay! Our group had a great time, lots of nearby hiking and excellent restaurants.

10/10, best rental! The house felt like a hotel - it was immaculately clean with beautiful decor and in an ideal location. They put a lot of thought into it, there were so many little things we weren't expecting from an Airbnb that made this one top notch. We appreciated the fluffy clean towels and toiletries they provided. They had a whole section of baby items stored neatly in the garage and we used the baby monitor to keep an eye on the kiddos during the night. We really enjoyed the kayaks with life jackets in adult and kid sizes. They even thought to provide things like waterproof cell phone cases to take on the kayaks! They also had a small cooler, tons of beach chairs and lawn games. The location of the house is great, there's a little beach around the corner and 1 min drive into a part of town with some nice restaurants. We took a recommendation from the house's Insta-page and went on an easy hike on the boardwalk section of the Appalachian trail! It was a great time!

We had an amazing weekend staying at this house in the Poconos! The property was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything our group needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very responsive and accommodating, ensuring our stay was smooth from start to finish. Our family traveled to Pennsylvania to ski at Elk Mountain and was fortunate to identify such an extraordinary home and host. We truly enjoyed our stay at Leisha’s home on the lake .. it was well maintained, clean, and organized. Leisha was very supportive of our special needs and I would undoubtedly recommend this Airbnb property to other parties exploring options in the region. Due to the lakeside location, the magic is certainly in the warmer months; however, for the winter enthusiasts seeking a country home proximal to Pennsylvania’s best skiing, consider Leisha’s home .. you’ll enjoy your stay.

We had a wonderful winter weekend stay here with our toddler. The hosts left out toys that were perfect for our kiddo and kept her entertained all weekend. The space is comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. We would definitely come back again, winter or summer!

My family and I rented Jonathan's place as a long-term rental during ski season. We wanted to be close to Big Boulder given our involvement in the race program and the place could not have been more conveniently located (it was also great being able to walk to Boulder View Tavern for apres ski!). The unit was just like it was described, and Jonathan was always incredibly responsive if we ever needed anything. This place became our "home away from home" for ski season and we were truly sad to pack up on our last day. Highly recommend both this unit and Jonathan (I believe he has other properties) to anyone considering a stay in the Poconos. Fantastic experience and absolutely wonderful host!!

This is our 3rd year staying at the house for our family's winter getaway. The location is absolutely perfect and the view is just breathtaking. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything we need. The communication prior and during our stay was on point, responsive and super helpful. We can't wait for next year! We stayed at Sharon’s for a weekend of skiing. Sharon’s ski condo was absolutely lovely. It was clean and neat. It was decorated so nice and felt so cozy! The views of the lake and mountain were beautiful. It was a very peaceful. We absolutely loved it. The location was great for skiing at big boulder. Sharon was a the best host as communication was excellent and Sharon was so friendly. She allowed us to check out a little later in the date of our departure. There was tons of information on all local places etc and a guest handbook with any/all information you would need. We will absolutely be back! We really enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and perfectly located condo with a beautiful lake view. It was very roomy with plenty of space for all guests. Joanne was an excellent communicator, proactively providing all of the information we needed for a smooth checkin and seamless experience. Gerry & Arlene were great hosts! They helped us find a location that fit our needs (walkable to the ski slopes). (We thought we originally booked a place right at Mountain Creek, but it ended up being across the street - so definitely a bit of a walk, but still not too bad.) We were celebrating our son's 13th birthday and the condo was perfect. The location allowed us to snowboard all day, come back to have pizza and birthday cake, then go right back on the slopes until closing. (We also left two pairs of our snowboard boots there...and they were extremely helpful in getting these back to us!)
