The Great Pyramid of Howland

RachelRating, 5 stars8 months ago
My boyfriend, Eric and I had a truly relaxing 3 day get-away in the Maine wilderness! We really had a great time "glamping" in the Pyramid enjoying nature! 🏕 The Pyramid was located 25 min from Lincoln, a 5 min walk to the riverside 🏞 and across the driveway from Dan's charming cabin. Dan was an amazing host that was very accommodating and responsive! Between his attack chickens (they were not mean 🐓) and was very adorable and friendly dog, Mr. Waffles 🧇 We are both very much looking forward to the next time we can stay at Dan's 🔼😁

Peaceful Cabin on Center Pond

JamieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This place is amazing!! Truly home away from home. The space was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It felt like we were miles and miles away from everything, but town was just a few minutes away. Unbelievable view from the porch!!! I watched the sunrise every morning from the comfy chairs on the deck. We loved that there was a canoe and took it out often! The town of Lincoln had great restaurants, easy access to grocery stores, and the people are very friendly. This place quickly moved to the top of our favorites list!
A wooden dock extends into the calm lake, with a small red kayak visible nearby. Surrounding greenery provides natural shade. A dog rests on the deck, overlooking the water, where cloudy reflections are seen against a clear blue sky.

This was a wonderful home base for our annual Maine trip to visit our son and his family. The camp could not have been more cozy and everything was exactly like the description, reviews, photos and more. We can’t wait to book for next year!
A charming cottage is positioned on the shore, featuring a slanted roof and a welcoming red door. Surrounding greenery adds to the natural setting, while the water is visible in the background under a cloudy sky. A peaceful outdoor view enhances the overall ambiance.

Cambolasse Cottage Lakefront

RickRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Super cute cabin literally 5 ft from the water’s edge. The listing’s description was very accurate. Tom and Suzanne just started renting this cabin but they did a great job anticipating what renters would want and appreciate. And, they were open to more suggestions. The kitchen area was well provisioned and had many things most hosts wouldn’t provide. Especially thoughtful were the 2 Whoopie Pies waiting in the fridge for us. Tom and Suzanne are planning further improvements to the property. We are looking forward to renting in the future. The pond itself is 211 acres with a max depth of 36 ft and mean depth of 15 ft. It’s very clean and water temperature was great for swimming. Although the dock was small, you could still dive with care from the end (about 4-5 ft). The bottom was mostly gravel. Any muck could easily be raked away as it was not very thick. Besides the dock, you could access the water from a 3-4 step staircase onto a giant flat and natural granite slab in 6” of water
