Great stay! The apartment was clean and the hosts were always very responsive and flexible. It was about a 10-15 drive to get into Bar Harbor so not too bad. WiFi was alright but did the job - wouldn’t be strong enough for a work from home situation, but strong enough for a vacation where we didn’t need it too often.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was immaculate and Ruby was super responsive and helpful. Perfect for families with the open plan. Modern and well stocked. Thank you!

Compass Point is a wonderful place! There were great water views from every window in the living room and dining area. And the water is much closer to the house than the photos convey. It's an incredibly quiet and private spot. The only sounds we heard were gulls and loons calling, the water lapping, and the lobster boats checking their pots. The house itself is well furnished, well supplied, and immaculate. Both Kyle and Alice were terrific communicators -- helpful, but never intrusive. Five stars, the whole way around!

A comfy and cozy place, 2 blocks to downtown Belfast. Very nice amenities.

This was a beautiful apartment to stay in, the view to the Union river, and evergreen trees was absolutely gorgeous. The apartment was clean and well designed and had lots of space. A short walk to Josie‘s country store & Café every morning for breakfast was perfect. A quick drive into downtown Ellsworth, where there are lots of restaurants, shops and pubs, then a bit further to Acadia national park, roughly a half hour drive, in April. We loved hiking in Acadia on Bar Harbor Island. What a great visit to Maine!

This little cottage by the ocean was absolutely beautiful! During low tide we enjoyed many walks by the water! such a quiet peaceful little area. Ann was quick to respond and so caring during our stay! while we were in Belfast my vehicle broke down, and we were able to stay an extra night while we waited for the garage to fix my car. Ann was understanding of the situation! We visited the area in the off season and the weather was gorgeous

We stayed with our 2 dogs for a little over a week and we had the best time! The cleanliness of the place was absolutely impeccable, the house was spacious and had everything we needed. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops nearby and the short drive to Acadia national park and Bar Harbor was super convenient. We’d absolutely come back and would recommend Dereks place to everyone.

Thank you for your hospitality! Great space for a group of us to share the night before a marathon. Plenty of rooms, a spacious kitchen for making food, and multiple bathrooms for getting ready!

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!
