Cooley House

The cottage is lovely, the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. If you're looking for a nice peaceful and quiet getaway then I would recommend it. Not walkable into Carlingford but it's quite a short drive. My first time staying somewhere so remote and I did enjoy it

Stunning location, Omeath

DeanRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This converted barn is in a great location, just a few minutes drive from the local village (Omeath - with a great pub which is child and dog friendly!). Also well located if visiting Carlingford. The house itself has everything you need and is set in expansive gardens (perfect for our dog). Samantha & Terry are great hosts - very welcoming and we had great communication from the moment we booked. They were very accommodating for our 1.5yr old son, with highchair, travel cot and toys provided. Highly recommend their place - hope to stay again soon.

Beautiful location with everything needed for a quiet and chilled out stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. Conor was helpful with local recommendations and answering any questions we had. Instructions for the sauna and hot tub were clear and straightforward. Overall great break away, highly recommend.

Helen and the Ferryhill Cottage were simply the best. Everything we could have asked and then some, from the stay to the host. I would highly recommend you to stay here and explore the beautiful area and history it has to offer. I wish we had more time, next time we will make sure stay longer. Thank you Helen for making our first stop magical. -Josh & Jenny

Morning Side

Great location - close to town and wonderful views of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Richard was very responsive to questions and provided clear directions to find the house and check-in. The space and layout of the house worked well for our family of five.
