Or, go east to Loughrea (19km) where there's safe summer lake swimming.

Also in the cottage is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area and oil-burning stove. Outside is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Ideally a car is necessary when staying at this cottage.
