Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Loreto

This for me, is by far the best air bnb experience in Iquitos, although it depends on what you are looking for- If you want to be in the middle of the rainforest, with stellar clean and beautiful lodging with great food, friends, and all kinds of wildlife (I saw 2 species of monkeys in 2 days from literally my bed), while also having tremendous peace and quiet and your own space.. then this is what you want. Within under an hour of staying here, I realized that Tomas and Marta were much more than just Hosts... they quickly showed themselves to be great friends and very warm people. I was impressed with the 2 story cabin... humble, as the jungle calls for, but immaculately decorated and designed. Tomas and Marta make food daily, including homemade bread and desserts and dishes using fresh ingredients.. It is 1.6 hours drive in colectivo from Iquitos, and 8 minutes from central Nauta. The peace and quiet, healing and just the pure joy of the rainforest is palpable. 10/10!

Claire was super helpful no matter which situation. Before even arriving there she gave me more than clear instructions how to get there and what I'm expected to pay for public transport and alternatives since you have to cross the river to get there. When I finally did arrive she was very friendly and welcoming so I felt like home straight away. She would always ask if you need anything and she even cooked for me which I found very pleasant. All in all Claire felt like a Mom to me and she definetly has a heart of gold. Her property is as beautiful as the pictures show and all basic amenities are on site. If you ever feel you need a place away from all trouble of your daily life in beautiful nature with all basic needs then Claire's place is definetly the place to be. I stayed 1 week and enjoyed every single day. I feel recharged and I have a lot more clarity which I give credit to Claire as well.

El departamento fue como las fotos, el ambiente bastante tranquilo y tiene una vista preciosa. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos de hospedarnos aquí, todo muy limpio y ordenado, la cocina estuvo muy completa. Susi fue bastante amable y nos dio recomendaciones para conocer el lugar. Definitivamente volveré.

the host was very helpful! it was a bit hard to tell which gate was the entrance but he helped me find it quickly. he also helped move me to the room with the best view. the place has a traditional feel but also a clean all white bedding, which I appreciated. it was close to everything I needed but is also quiet as it is on the water. the AC in the bedroom was great for sleep. thank you for your hospitality!
