A three minute walk to downtown where you will find the majority of the town's stores, supermarket, restaurants and bars. Two minute walk from the nearest bus stop. A warm and accomodating home well equipped to prepare for trips in the lovely nature surrounding Longyearbyen, or perhaps to relax your shoulders and enjoy a warm drink after having come home from a fantastic excursion.

Dette overnattingsstedet/ leiligheten ligger ca. 7 min. gange fra sentrum hvor det er flere butikker og restauranter. Det er bl.a. et stort Coop kjøpesenter plassert midt i sentrum. Leiligheter har 3 soverom der ett rom har en king size seng. Ett soverom har kun en seng på 90 cm og det siste soverommet har en seng som kan gjøres om til en dobbelseng. Hvis det skulle bli behov for flere senger kan sofaen i stuen gjøres om til en dobbelseng. Har dere spørsmål om sengeplass, ta kontakt med oss.

Cozy groundfloor apartment, located in a typical residential area, only 3 walking minutes from town center with kulturhuset, supermarket, restaurants, cafés & shops. Nice home for 2 (up to 4 possible). 160x200 cm bed with 2 comfortable matresses; as often on Svalbard placed in a bed alcove, accessible from one side. Sofa bed in the living room. No TV but good Wifi. Well equipped kitchen for cooking and dining at home after an exciting day of exploring Svalbard. Longterm options available.

Du kan ikke bo stort nærmere sentrum enn dette! Tips: Video tour tilgjengelig på YouTube (Google-søk: "Lornts Myhr Haugnes youtube") Leiligheten består av to romslige soverom. Den har også to bad, hvorav ett er ensuit. Flott utsikt mot Platåfjellet og Taubanesentralen! Det er inntil fem sengeplasser. Her har du matbutikken, shoppingsenteret, flere restauranter og pub rett rundt hjørnet. Ønskes flere sengeplasser er vi behjelpelig med det, men dette må avtales på forhånd :)

Spacious and comfortable apartment with a fantastic view over the fjord and mountains. After a long day outdoors that would be a perfect place to get cosy and finally relax. The apartment has two bedrooms and a sleeping sofa in the living room. Thus, 6 guests can accommodate with comfort here by 2 persons in each room. The apartment is located about 600 m uphill from the downtown, hence if travelling with the luggage, taking a taxi from/to the airport is highly recommended.

Enderekkehus nest innerst i gaten, kun 7 minutter gange til sentrum. Rekkehuset inneholder følgende: 1.etasje: Gang, bad, hovedsoverom, stue med åpen kjøkkenløsning. 2.etasje: Gang og 2 soverom. Det er en romslig bod i leiligheten som kan brukes til å oppbevare klær og utstyr. Gratis parkering utenfor boligen.

Welcome to my home with two bedrooms . One of the bedrooms is on the cozy loft. Fully equipped kitchen, big tv, nice little balcony. Wonderful apartment, right by the city center where you find shopping, bars, restaurants and tourist info. Nice view of Hiortfjell, the direction where the northern lights are often spotted. Modern and delicate apartment in second floor. Please note its animal friendly and not allergy proof.

Grocery store, souvenir stores, resturants, pubs etc. There are 3 bedrooms. 1 King size bed and 2 single bed who turns into Queen size beds when you fold them out. the extra bed is a single bed that will be placed in the living room.

Huset ligger i et svært rolig nabolag uten gjennomgående trafikk, men likevel svært nært sentrum med restauranter, barer og butikker. Det er to soverom, et med dobbeltseng og et med familiekøye. Stuen og kjøkkenet er romslig og moderne og gir flott utsikt over Adventfjorden og Hiorthfjellet.

Wonderful experience here! The room is well decorated and Lea is very friendly to offer help. Living in Svalbard is much better with the help of Lea and we definitely recommend this room without hesitation!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Wohnung. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die Einkaufsläden waren gut erreichbar und ebenso unsere Freunde und die Kirche, wo wir an einem Projekt teilnahmen. Beim Warmwasser zum Duschen gab es z.T. Probleme und den Kochherd anzustellen war für uns erst ein Geheimnis. Aber wir haben dann bald gemerkt, dass man den Timer einstellen muss und dann erst die Elektrizität kommt. Ein Hinweis darauf wäre hilfreich gewesen, denn so ein System habe ich noch nie gesehen. Aber alles andere war absolut Tip-top! Vielen Dank für alles!, Brigitta

Modern apartment with all you need

Fantastic stay. The views from the apartment are just amazing, especially at sunset and sunrise. From the dining table we could see the ocean, the mountains, and the town bathed in pink and purple hues at sunset, followed by blue light in the hours after that. Apartment was very spacious and had all the amenties we needed (and some we weren't expecting such as Netflix). Finally, our host Anna was incredibly warm and helpful, and made us feel right at home. Heartily recommend to anyone going to Svalbard for a visit!

Nach meiner Ankunft in Longyearbyen traf in bei Polar Bear auf ein junges, sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Team. Die Unterkunft bot alles was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen. Hier kannst du dir auch für alle Aktivitäten beraten und planen lassen, dann hast du das Rundrum Sorglos Paket. Wer sich für Polar Bear entscheidet, wird auf einen kompetenten Gastgeber treffen.

The view was amazing (I stayed in room #1, the bathroom is equipped with laundry and drying machines, it was very convenient to wash and dry my clothes whenever needed. I highly recommend this airbnb.

Dette var andre gangen jeg bodde hos Ivar og det svarte til forventningene denne gangen slik det gjorde forrige gang :). Plassen til Ivar ligger sentralt og greit til i ett stille nabolag i Longyearbyen. Vi kommer gjerne igjen. Takk for meg for denne gang -
