Have this perfect lakeside getaway all to yourself. Close to restaurants, golf, shopping, yet right on the water. Perfect for the kids with clear water, a gradual, sandy bottom, and warm summer temperatures. Note that the 3rd sleeping area has bunk beds and is an alcove with privacy curtains off the living room. Kids and adults love the view from the top bunk! High quality kayaks provided with life jackets.

Michelle's Cabin was fantastic! It was the perfect place for our family to stay for a few days! Michelle was extremely helpful before and during our stay to ensure our group had everything needed to enjoy some family time on Higgins Lake! The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room for our family to sit down to have quality time throughout our vacation. Michelle offers two kayaks for use while staying at the cabin, wifi access, two Roku TV's, an outdoor area with firepit, as well as an indoor fireplace and a breezeway with a table so you can still have a meal outdoors and stay dry if it were to rain. We would definitely stay at Michelle's cabin again!

This little place was perfect for our family of four on a soccer tournament weekend. It was close enough to TC and Leland for exploring and far enough out for a peaceful regroup after a full day on the soccer field. I wish the checkout time could have been a little more flexible, but the host was completely upfront about the hard checkout time. So it wasn’t a problem at all. We would definitely go back.

Excellent host, Michael & Kelly were so nice. Check in & check out was easy. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing. It is a great place for family and children. The lake is quiet and they have canoeing, kayaks as well as fishing. I recommend this resort for relaxing lakeside experiences. The shopping in Charlevoix, Petosky, Glen Arbor and Traverse City was better than Door Country. The beaches along the coastlines were also a must see.

We (and our dogs) had an amazing time at Nathan's beautiful home. The setting is ideal—the house is right on the water, the amenities are fantastic, and the neighborhood is beautiful and serene. The house has everything you would want. There is a sweet deck and outdoor area along with a dock and your own private beach—the next house in either direction is almost a half-a-mile away. The perimeter around the house is essentially fully-fenced, which allowed us to swim, paddle board, and hang outside with the pups without worries. Nathan is a great host: He checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. He provided clear instructions about the house and its features, as well as great local recommendations. We really can't say enough great things about our stay. It was by far the most peaceful and relaxing trip we've had and look forward to coming back soon!
