Our stay was amazing. The scenery was beautiful, the cabin itself was well stocked and clean and our host was extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future!

I have been coming up to the area since I was young, but it was my wife’s first trip to the Adirondacks. I wanted to show my wife all of the special places my dad took me when i was little. I managed to show her some of the other spots before we checked in, and I’m glad I did, because once we arrived at the air bnb, we were home. It took little time to realize that we were spending the entire trip on the lake and at the camp. To try to put it in perspective, we woke up each morning while it was still dark to make sure we could watch the sun rise above the lake each morning (and get some prime fishing time in). The cabin itself is well maintained, and very charming. Ona was very responsive and an excellent host. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous, quaint, rustic Adirondack cabin like something you see in the magazines. Literally ON the water. The Hide-A-Way cottage property has tons of things to do! Great for a family trip. Location is on a serene, quiet lake but close to Lake George village if you want more activity. Host was excellent and very informative.

This is my family's second stay at Jeff's listing. It is our absolute favorite trip we now look forward to taking each year. The house is even more beautiful and peaceful in person than in the photos. Jeff was extremely responsive and accommodating. The house was spotless upon check in and had all the amenities we could ever want/need. I can't wait to come back!

We spent two nights during the shoulder season of fall/winter. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely this place is for the price. We immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. Their hospitality and property is not something to be missed! I will absolutely be back to enjoy the airbnb in different seasons! One thing to note is if you’re tall the shower and bed are a little tight. Not a big deal but worth a mention. 10/10 stay.

The place was very clean, and looked just like the pictures. This cabin isn't on the water and you had to walk through other campsites to get to the water. I knew this though from looking at other reviews. Definitely need an 4WD especially in the winter. It was beautiful and everybody we talked to were super nice!

We had a great time at Rocky Lodge! The lakeside setting is unmatched. We loved fishing off the dock, swimming off the dock, paddling around the bay and listening to the loons. The house and boathouse were clean and comfortable, check-in and communication were easy. We'd like to come back!

It is my pleasure to recommend Brad's house in Lake Placid / Saranac. I travel there every year with a group of friends for hiking and skiing, and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. The house was easy to find and more than large enough to fit us all. Brad's instructions were very clear and he was responsive to all messages I sent over the course of the stay.

A Perfect Getaway! We had such a wonderful stay at Karen’s beautiful lakefront home! From the moment we booked, Karen was amazing with communication—super responsive, helpful, and so accommodating. She made everything so easy and stress-free. The house itself was spotless and smelled so fresh when we arrived—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear that Karen puts a lot of care into making her guests feel comfortable. The location is absolutely stunning—tucked away in a peaceful spot right on the lake. We loved having access to the boats during the day, and in the evenings, sitting around the firepit with family under the stars was just perfect. It was everything we needed for a relaxing escape. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful retreat with a host who really goes above and beyond. Great place on the water! Stayed here with a large family for the winter holidays and really enjoyed the snow and frozen lake! House has plenty of room to spread out and lots of thoughtful activities for kids and adults! The kitchen is well stocked with quality cookware as well. We had a problem with the heat in one room and Frances responded immediately and sent someone to fix the problem. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was just a quick ride outside of town and very easy to find! Plenty of space for our family and we were able to enjoy a movie on the big screen downstairs! The kitchen was well stocked as well as towels and blankets so the kiddos could cuddle up near the fireplace! We will keep you on our list for future visits to Old Forge! Thank you The Russo Family!

I was here for a fall visit so could not take full advantage of the wonderful lake location but would love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy this location. We did have the chance to go on an afternoon kayak which was great fun and absolutely beautiful with the fall foliage! The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans and utensils as well as a few spices. We cooked a lot and I brought all ingredients and condiments I needed and I would recommend you do the same. Shop before hand as there is not a grocery store nearby. The location is right across the street from a Circle K but the house is nestled far back from the road with a garage out front so the gas station and all it's buzz were not at all noticeable. The living room was arranged awkwardly and with some tired furniture and the TV is actually in the dining room. If you were a large group trying to watch a movie or gather in the living room this would be a bit challenging. The beds were extremely comfortable!

Jon was easy to work with and always helpful. Everything is as described. We skied Mt Gore and it's a nice 15-20 minute drive in beautiful countryside. I imagine the place is extra beautiful in the summer in front of the lake. We were there with lots of snow. Jon's plow guy was prompt and courteous and helpful. Overall it was a great stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views were stunning from the moment you pulled into the driveway and from every window in the house! It was family friendly, our kids loved this house, the kids book shelf and the closet of toys and kid amenities! Anna was super responsive from check in day to check out! We were very happy with our stay and not only are we ready to go back, our kids are already asking for another vacation there!! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at the condo in Green Mansions. It was very spacious and Bryce was extremely communicative.

Words cannot express how beautiful the cabin and property are. Everything is perfect. It’s the perfect location for a ski/board trip to Gore. The cabin is nestled on a hill, totally secluded. Very private location. The property has a trail which has a stream trickling by. Everything in the cabin works. You’ll need food, that’s about it. If your lucky to find this place open to rent, well then your lucky.

First of all the pictures for this place don’t do it justice! It’s a beautiful home and way bigger than we expected! We had a great weekend at John’s place and can’t wait to comeback and stay again.

Really nice location and would love to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the porch. Very comfortable stay with plenty of space for our small group. Worth the adventure getting there!

This was my first time staying at Ken’s beautiful home on Minerva Lake. When I walked inside I was in awe. The interior home is stunning. A large dining room table was off to the side of the living room and we loved gathering around the table to do watercolor paintings. The bedrooms are comfy and cute. Little details around the house like nightlights and paintings are so sweet. Everything we needed was there for us. The kitchen was cute and we enjoyed cooking our meals and making salads. The fire pit outside was also lots of fun. We made s’mores and we were hoping to see the Northern Lights but unfortunately they didn’t come down south far enough, but we still had fun. The house is extremely comfortable and inviting. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back. Thanks Ken for everything. Lori.

This is our second annual visit to the Bumble Bear Inn. We love all the TVs and WiFi but especially the game room! Kitchen is well-stocked and morning coffee in the sunroom is very relaxing. Great place to visit in the winter! Kim and Cameron are very responsive and great!

If you’re looking for a quiet place to get away for the weekend, look no further!! Pete was so nice and incredibly responsive. My fiancée and I will definitely be staying here again!
