Farmstay vacation rentals in Long Island Sound

We had an amazing stay at Sally’s place in Bethel! My fiancé and I visited CT for the first time to celebrate my birthday and go to a convention nearby. This cottage was perfect for the two of us. The host was very responsive and accommodating as well! The cottage was in pristine condition, the house manual was very easy to follow, the recommendations were great, the scenery was out of a movie, and my favorite part was the hot tub in our restroom which was perfect after a long day! We had a great time and would love to come back again! Thanks for your hospitality Sally! ☺️

Overall the place was very nice to stay at. Hosts/Property manager were EXCELLENT communicators (we had an issues and they had solutions within 30 minutes). Close to supermarket (right down the street), along with close to being downtown Saugerties, resturants and getting on the thruway. Would recommend for families.

This was a great find! I booked this Airbnb for myself and 4 other girls and there was plenty of room and space for us to hangout, sleep, and get ready. Walkable to town. Extremely clean and had all the amenities you would need for a short weekend getaway. Marianne and Steven were very responsive whenever I had a question. I would totally book this Airbnb again!

We enjoyed a beautiful early spring stay on the farm with a group of 7 ladies, gathering for a chill bachelorette weekend in Cold Springs. The farmhouse was super cozy; great for cooking, crafting, games, tea time, outdoor wine picnics, star gazing at night in the hot tub and making friends with the chickens! A great retreat spot for groups with all the amenities!

Scott’s house was one of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at! So unique and cozy. Very clean and beautiful location. Will stay there every time we are in CT

This is at least our 4th time staying at what we call "The Farm" and it is our favorite getaway! We even got my brother to drive 1.5 hours out of his way on his family trip to Boston so he could check it out. A rare gem!

Linda’s home is absolutely beautiful and unreal! First of all, it was extremely clean with great smelling sheets. Her home had everything you needed from coffee, seasonings, first aid kit, and even marshmallows to roast. My family and I had a bbq as well and Linda had a lot of cookware. We had sooo much space to walk and go on a hike right off the property. There is a little stream of water that connects to the pond which my little 4 year old loved. The horses were a lovely addition and we loved hearing the rooster during the day. We will certainly be returning because a weekend was too short to explore everything. I highly recommend! This is the best AirB&B we have ever stayed at! Tom and Julia are wonderful friendly hosts who create a warm and inviting space. The farm and property is breathtaking, and it was so fun getting to feed and pat all the animals! Special thank you to Eyore and Millie their donkeys who are the sweetest. We look forward to coming back in the future. 10/10, no notes.

The epitome of charm!! The house is a lovely space & the farm is beautiful! Though the weather didn’t quite cooperate with all of our plans (snow in April!?!) we were cozy & happy at the house! Took a walk to see the cows (& calves ❤️) & purchased honey, meat & other products in the farm store. Deer & a bobcat also added some excitement. Can’t wait to go back again! Thank you Sarah & Jeff!! Absolutely wonderful property. I came here to rest and relax in the comfort and nature and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful hiking trails, comfortable living space. Well worth your money if you're looking to spend time in one of the more rural areas of Massachusetts. Will come again!

Great place. loved the pool table, darts and shall shuffleboard. lots of good wineries and cider places within 25 mins. pennings is our fav. didn't use the hot tub so couldn't comment but looked nice and private. driveway is steep but easily driveable. recommended. also didn't have coffee filters and they paid for some to be delivered same day! sweet.

Michael is a really great host and the place itself is very whimsical and fun. I highly recommend staying there to anyone who wants to hang out on a peaceful farm that's a bit on the playful side as well.

I loved my time at Rebecca's place! Not only was she flexible with my arrival time and provided me with helpful directions on how to get there and where to park, she was ready waiting outside when I pulled up! She was so nice and was so personable as if I was speaking to someone I've known for years! She gave me a tour of the unit and pointed out everything I needed to know! The stay was so clean and had towels and linens laid out for my use!!! She provided very tasty food recommendations and made sure I knew she was available if I needed anything during my stay!! Checkout was so easy and instructions were very easy to follow!!! I will definitely be taking her recommendation and returning in the Spring to get some much needed study time before my exams!! I would recommend this stay to everyone who's looking!!

Had a great stay at Andrew’s Air Bnb. It was very close to numerous wineries, breweries, and restaurants. It was the perfect location for a weekend get away, with a house that would’ve been worth it in the middle of nowhere! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. My daughter loved the alpacas and other animals! Lisa took the time to introduce us to the animals and we feed them. The chicken eggs that she gave us were delicious!

We had an amazing time here! The home is very charming, in a great location on the North Fork close to our favorite vineyards and restaurants. Paul was kind enough to offer us an early check in so that we may accommodate our guests traveling to visit! We really enjoyed our stay & made great memories.

There were so many additional amenities that were not required but were provided, that helped the entire trip 10x more. Anything you could have forgotten, they had for guest. The animals were a big plus and I thought that I may have wanted to put the cat up when I first read but that part of this experience was one of most heart fulfilling and peaceful parts! The view from the hot tub is immaculate and the hosts were even better! They were so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable with the animals. Overall I’d give 100/10.

From the time of booking the hosts were great with communication. Check in went smoothly and the home comfortably fit our group. If visiting the area for NY Sheep and Wool this home is a continent location.

This was our second stay with Claudia and Scott, and once again, it was absolutely wonderful—even with the surprise of rare spring snow! The loft was warm, cozy, and beautifully designed, with fireplaces, comfy beds, and plenty of open space to relax. Mornings on the deck were peaceful, and our little mini dachshund loved every minute. The highlight was ending our stay with a visit to the sweet horses, feeding them carrots and chatting with the always-lovely Claudia, who even pointed us to the best local donuts. The hosts truly make this place special, from their hospitality to the stunning, clean property. We can’t wait to return in warmer weather to explore more of the 200 gorgeous acres—hopefully by golf cart next time!

We had a fabulous stay at Amanda's place. It was so quiet, peaceful and the scenery was just so beautiful. We felt relaxed the moment we entered the property. It's definitely a place where you want to take it slow, watch the sunrise and admire the landscape and nature. The apartment had everything we needed and more. Lots of thoughts and efforts had been put into the place to provide for a very comfortable stay. Amanda's communications were excellent right from the beginning till check out time. She also provided a folder filled with useful local information and recommendations. Many of the amenities Amanda provided were not only environmentally friendly but are also very high quality products. Even though the apartment is attached to the main building, we still had our own complete privacy and there's very little noise at all from the main house. We will be happy to return again whenever we are traveling in the vicinity.

This was such a lovely little place. We were there for something that required us to be able to rest and have downtime and this was perfect. There’s lots of blankets, soft area rugs, pillows, and cozy places to lounge. The place also had so many cute little things and all the amenities and extras you could need if you forget something from home (individually wrapped Q-tips, disposable shower caps, toothpaste etc.) The owners left lots of thoughtful things like notes and products from their farm for us to find and gave good recommendations on places to visit in the area. The neighborhood is also beautiful, walkable and really nice.

I had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. I especially enjoyed exploring the property – it was beautiful to walk around and take in the surroundings. A highlight was definitely the farm fresh eggs, which were a lovely touch and made my mornings extra special. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Jim and Carol were very friendly and nice. The place is awesome and felt like home. We were welcomed by delicious cookies and muffins that Carol and Jim baked.
