From the village, you can climb to the mountains of Brienno with the characteristic farms (which can also be visited on request) or, for good hikers, you can go further to reach Alpe Comana and Schignano, also passing through the "Scala Santa" on a very steep mule track. You can also buy fruit and vegetables on Mondays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Just 10 minutes by car you can find well-stocked supermarkets. 2 km away towards Argegno you can eat in a renowned Lake Como restaurant called "Il crotto dei Platani" with veranda and garden on the lake. Starting in August, the Bar/Restaurant/Pizzeria will also open right in the center of Brienno, within walking distance of the apartment.

Monte Isola is only 45 km from Orio al Serio Airport (Bergamo) the highway exits are: Palazzolo, Rovato or Brescia. By train or bus it can be reached from Brescia to Sulzano with Ferrovie Nord. By ferry, from Iseo or Sulzano to Peschiera Maraglio. The entire house is available for guests. The apartment is in a picturesque village on an island of Lake Iseo, an ideal place to rediscover the slow pace and charm of simplicity.
