This is a gem. Amboise itself is a quaint and beautiful town, and Guillaume and Julia’s place is nestled right in the middle of it. A several minute walk from shops, the local chateau, and many restaurants. Although we were a stones throw to the center of the action, it was very quiet and private. Breakfast is a must. It consisted of fresh bread and croissants, meats, cheeses, fruits and nuts, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs in a darling sitting room in the main house. Lovely. Merci, Guillaume and Julia— we will be back!!

The house was ideal for our family holiday - five adults and four young children. The children enjoyed playing in the large garden and the adults enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi and sauna. On chilly evenings the fireplace was very welcome, with a plentiful supply of firewood. The hosts were lovely, easy to contact, were available for most of our stay and helped when our car tyre needed some air. We visited many of the châteaux in the area - Chateaux de Langeais, Ussé, Chenonceau and Azay le Rideau. We spent a full day at Center Parcs Les Bois des Daims - only 50 minutes drive. Wine tasting in Huismes - Chinon AOC. The house was overall very comfortable, spacious and generally clean, although we were surprised to find that bathroom cleaning products had not been provided and so had to shop for our own. Perhaps this was an oversight as we were early in the season. Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful place, very well located for many of the main sites in the Touraine region.

We loved our stay in Anne’s chateau, beautiful building and in keeping furnishings, Anne greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome and was a lovely host. A comfortable and spacious room, with great views of the grounds, the garden and surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. Thank you

This is a beautiful stay. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The grounds are beautiful. The chateau is so charming. The swimming pool was fabulous! The proprietor was nice but not super welcoming like we had elsewhere. But definitely worth the stay.

We had a very pleasant evening with my son at Sylvie and Alain's who always welcome us as well. We were unable to enjoy the outdoor jaccuzi because the weather didn't allow it but we were able to dine in the beautiful beautifully maintained garden. Beautiful game room. Very good breakfast with homemade jams. Thank you for the welcome and discussion. Looking forward to coming back.

Very good stay at Thibault's. From communication to the cleanliness of private spaces, there is nothing to complain about. I would recommend it, of course.

Great stay at Margaux's, we were a group of 15 friends. The space was clean, spacious, comfortable and friendly. Equipped with everything we needed. Good communication with Margaux who was available if needed to answer our questions. Although the owners have their home in the same yard, we had complete privacy and independence. The accommodation is well located for visiting the area! We were able to adjust our departure time for an additional fee. Recommended

We had a great weekend at this beautiful residence at the End of the World. Thank you again Agnès for your welcome, your special touches and the time you gave us. The place is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. The atmosphere and decoration of the rooms and common areas are very warm. We feel very nice there. We loved the view from the kitchen over the Loir. A real little paradise on earth, which we highly recommend!

A rich human encounter, a calm time since I was alone, I felt at home with all the positive energy this place and its host has. An address to remember that I would love to come back to. Amazing enchanting place right in the heart of lovely Durtal. Agnes has created a wonderful experience for her guests. The house is very beautiful and sympathetic to nature, the garden with river view is very relaxing. Agnes is a wonderful host. So if you want to experience charm, warmth and stunning views of the castle you will enjoy this space . Highly recommended
