Great location, good value and the room had everything I needed. It was clean and well laid out like a hotel room. My only feedback would be the shower wasn’t the best, it was like being sprayed with a spray bottle, (but at least it was reliably hot!) and the mattress wasn’t as comfortable as I’m used to staying in hotel-style accommodation - it was a bit hard and wobbly-feeling - but it was warm enough and ok for a couple of nights. Overall I was happy with my stay and it was convenient and comfortable for a short time. I would consider staying there again.

I was extremely satisfied with this stay. At first, I was drawn in by the Airbnb photos. I had never heard of Hirstglen before, and honestly, I booked it just for this beautiful cottage. To my surprise, the house was surrounded by a fenced yard, perfect for my furry friend to run around in. Outside that, there was an even larger fenced area where we could hike and enjoy the scenery, accompanied by friendly cows along the way. Inside, the house was tastefully decorated by the hostess, featuring a charming countryside style that I love—vintage wall tiles, kitchenware, retro window frames, and stained glass. The blend of old and new in every corner brought me joy and a deep sense of relaxation. It's a feeling you just can't get from a boutique hotel. We enjoyed a bonfire, marveled at the starry sky unpolluted by city lights, and went apple picking in Stanthorpe. It was a wonderful family trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Steve and Annie's place! Lovely home with plenty of tea and a relaxing front porch to enjoy it on. Plenty of blankets and the heater kept us warm even though it was chilly outside. Really well setup for travelling with kids too. Host has setup the cot for us and there was a cupboard of toys and highchair too! Made it super easy to travel with my baby. Really close to Toowoomba for sightseeing. Super peaceful, quiet and relaxing getaway. Thank you! We would highly recommend to friends and look forward to staying again!

Loved staying in Suzy’s Airbnb, she was so informative and helpful. Airbnb was furnished impeccably with lots more helpful bits like kitchen essentials than we were expecting, would 100% recommend!
