Take walks in the forest where the mountains offer wonderful views of Bergsmäns Rike or bring your mushroom basket in search of chanterelles. Or just enjoy the tranquility, the quiet and the views in front of a fire outdoors or indoors. The coziness is hard to beat!

The house has a large terrace with barbecue, dining area and dartboard. Don't miss a lovely bath in the wood-fired hot tub with room for 5-6 people. Nearby you have paintball, go-kart & ice kart, elk safari, long-distance skates, adventure trail, tennis court, cross-country skis, canoe or kayak rental. Ställbergs Rökeri, where you can buy locally produced rapeseed oil, honey and smoked fish. About 20 minutes away there is a smaller ski resort, Fjällberget. 1 hour to Romme! 10 minutes by car to Djäken's swimming area with sandy beach.

Within 2 km there is a grocery store, restaurant, etc. 20 minutes to Malingsbo Kloten - one of Sweden's largest nature conservation areas with rich waters for fishing and paddling and nice hiking trails. 1 hour to Romme Alpin.

Lillstugan - the cosy cottage on the countryside

"Lillstugan" is a cosy cottage in the middle of Sweden. It is located just beside our main house and is integrated in our farm, which is situated in the middle of a nice little village called Löa. We are surrounded by fields and forests, nature is just outside. Lush environments around the streams, deep forests, meadows, fields, grazing animals and lakes mean that the bird life is rich (approx. 145 species seen by us) It is a fully functional cottage and mainly for up to a small family.

Welcome to our cozy log cabin — a peaceful place to relax and adventure! There are 6 beds divided into 2 bedrooms and a small loft with 2 beds. There is a small cottage during the summer with 2 beds that can be rented for a fee of SEK 350/day. Cleaning for a fee. Bed linens/towels for a fee. The cottage has a large porch with stunning lake views. Walking distance to swimming area with sandy beach. Discover museums, cafes, go-karts, spas, fishing trips, downhill/length skis.

Atlantis

Atlantis är en timmerstuga som byggdes i slutet av 1800-talet och användes som bageri. Det har fungerat som fritidshus sedan början av 1990 Omarbetad 2023. Huset ligger i ett lugnt läge, precis vid vattnet. En roddbåt och en bastu i det intilliggande sjöboden är tillgängliga för gästerna till fri användning! Naturen inbjuder dig att tillbringa din fritid och koppla av. Det finns också museer, historiska platser och industriarv i det omgivande området.

Our place of peace and quiet is called "Sköttens" and provides 9 sleeping places and two bathrooms for you. Whether you are looking for peace, want to be active in sports, like fishing or want to reconnect with nature, this place is the right one for it. Since we also use the house with our family, it is equipped accordingly. We are very happy to let you participate. Whether summer or winter, a visit will ultimately bring you the maximum relaxation.

In summer, the nearby bathing area with jetty, barbecue area, playground, volleyball court invites you to spend time there. Next to the swimming area is a soccer field and a Utegym (outdoor gym). The house also has a jetty, which is located behind a small wooded hill (3-minute walk). Close to hiking trails. Fishing is available. Nearby ski resorts (Grängesberg, Romme Alpin) as well as cross-country skiing and skating are available in winter.

Log cabin at the edge of the forest

Our cottage is located in the woods along a gravel road that around the turn of the century was a railway. Our main building was the railway guard's residence. Your house is a room in a timber-framed red cottage with white knots on our property. The cabin has electricity but no running water. We have an outhouse. A shower can be arranged but let us know, the water supply is periodically very limited with our own well.
