Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Livarot-Pays-d'Auge

We had a wonderful stay at Isabelle and Marc's place. We were looking for a peaceful environment and found a safe haven. We were seduced by the charm of the miller's house, which is very comfortable. Nature is absolutely beautiful, the house facing the forest, along a river, in a garden where it was good to soak up the sun on sun loungers. The Parisians that we are enjoyed the absolute calm. The house is very well-equipped, and the WiFi works perfectly. Marc gave us valuable advice (including reading for our daughters), speaking with passion about nature and this beautiful region. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a pleasant stay at Marie-Ange's! The accommodation is in a quiet village and close to several tourist places! Marie Ange is very nice. We came with two small children and there was everything we needed (bed, bathtub, high chair, changing mat). Just for those who are tall, be careful because the floor has a low ceiling!

Nice house in a lovely, albeit quite rural location (as many places are in Normandy). The place is still a “work in progress), in that there is work going on to further develop the garden and grounds, but the house itself is great. It suited our needs perfectly - three nights for four of us, attending a family party, at a cheaper price than a B&B would have been. Alexandre was excellent in communicating with use

Absolutely wonderful stay. Not only was the home cozy and beautifully appointed, but the tranquil surroundings and farmland were spectacular. Highly recommend!

Great weekend in this very nice Normandy farmhouse. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation offered is in line with expectations, faithful to the photo and very clean. The playroom delighted our 2-year-old daughter; she also enjoyed the garden and discovering the cows that stay in the adjacent meadow. I highly recommend this place if you want peace and quiet.

A “cabin” in the woods, peaceful except for the Mourning Dove mourning down the chimney and the cows lowing across the fence, every possible amenity was provided including wine, beer and cidre in the fridge and a very well -stocked bar. Bed was wonderful for nine nights and that may be a travel record. Typical European shower, enough said, didn’t try the sauna but it looked good. Lots more little niceties. However, if you require active, powerful internet and cell coverage bring your Starlink.

Perfect, nothing to complain about, Isabelle and Alain are remarkable hosts, the accommodation is great, with more than you could hope for. The garden, decor and the house itself are super nice.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

What a find! A beautiful, slightly quirky, old Norman townhouse. Carrying bags to the 2nd floor but SO worth it! Hosts arranged to meet us at checkin and were very friendly and helpful. A great place from which to explore the Seine-Maritime area.

A great place to stay with an ocean view and parking

I had a great time at Camille and Baptiste's! The accommodation was perfectly in line with the listing: clean, good location, quiet and very well-equipped. Camille was a caring, responsive and warm host, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area, and I will not hesitate to return on my next visit. Once again, thank you for everything!

We had a great weekend at Frédéric's, the apartment is modern, well arranged, well stocked, nothing was missing! And what about the exceptional location with this balcony and sea view. All this close to the center. Frédéric always responded to us very quickly and was very accommodating. We were greeted by Michel on arrival who was very welcoming. We'll be happy to go back!

Good location in the centre of town close to everything (including Juno Beach Centre). On the third floor so lots of stair climbing. Apartment is small but cute and the sofa bed is very comfortable.

Small studio ideally located in Cabourg, with beautiful sea views. In my opinion, ideal for a romantic weekend. Karine is a very nice and very available host

Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.

Lovely holiday destination. Private area with parking,view of the bay. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner personally met us and showed us everything. Thank you so much. We will definitely come back in the summer
