The Ammonoosuc River Lodge

KerryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our third year staying at Chris and Beth’s beautiful property, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. Chris and Beth are the most welcoming hosts—so friendly, extremely helpful, and always quick to respond. They go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect, and their kindness truly makes the stay special. Their home is absolutely stunning—warm, comfortable, and immaculately kept. The grounds are just as incredible—lush, peaceful, and meticulously maintained. It’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of nature. We’ve made so many wonderful memories here over the years and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Chris and Beth, for another amazing stay by the Ammonoosuc River!

This is our third year staying here as our home base for XC skiing at Bretton Woods. Littleton is a great town with cute shops and good restaurants. This guest house is very clean, has everything you need, and the owners are so responsive. We were even surprised this time with a delightful welcome basket filled with yummy local treats. Excited for next year!

Kinsman Cabin - Big Views

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We’ve just had the most wonderful four nights in the Kinsman Cabin, it was all way beyond expectation. The views were incredible and while the cabin was in a very private area a perfect local produce shop was only a 10 minutes drive away. We cooked every night at the cabin because with those views why wouldn’t you? Michael recommended a few walks that were only a short drive away and ended with some spectacular waterfalls. I would definitely recommend this property as a wonderful place to stay. Michael was a brilliant host who was very friendly and attentive and never shy of making recommendations. A very special place.
A charming red mill building is positioned alongside a flowing river. A waterwheel is visible on the side, hinting at the building's historical significance. The landscape features rocky riverbanks and trees, with a clear blue sky above, creating a serene backdrop.

Mountain House

AliciaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was beautiful and in a great location. Very peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed and our family was very comfortable during our stay. Check in was super easy! The only minor issue we had was the road getting to the house was a little rough. We came the end of April and it was pretty rocky and a little steep! We would definitely stay here again though and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway. Littleton is about 10 minutes away and an amazing town to visit!

Container Home w/ Mountain Views, Deck, Fire Pit

DustinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is exactly what we expected. Peaceful and relaxing, easy to find even though google maps has it just past the entrance. This was a last second 1 night getaway for us and the container home had everything we needed like towels, shampoo, etc... We went to a local supermarket 15 minutes away and utilized the grill on the deck overlooking the valley. The inside bar area was nice to sit at to eat dinner and look out to the wilderness using the large window that opens completely so we felt like we were outside. There was a nice fire place outside but I didn't read the entire description so we didn't bring firewood. As for the musty smell others have complained about, it must have been their first time staying somewhere other than home. We always bring candles whether we're staying in a yurt or a $500/night hotel. There is a musty smell but not after 15 minutes of candles.

Stones Throw Log Cabin: Ski-Hike-Eat-Repeat!

HannahRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Our group loved our stay at here at Stone’s Throw Cabin! It was the perfect weekend cabin getaway in the White Mountains. Check in was very smooth with keyless entry and clear instructions provided by the host. The short distance to surrounding ski mountains made our trip easy and relaxing. We were able to enjoy the local breweries and restaurants, while also visiting the local coop to prepare meals in the kitchen which was stocked with everything we needed. The home was spacious and allowed us to enjoy a night of card games and laughs with friends. The bedrooms/bathrooms were both clean and comfortable. As a group traveling together we felt we had plenty of our own space and not cramped on top of one another. The dogs definitely enjoyed their stay as well and had plenty of space in the yard for fresh air. Thanks Tim!

Littleton Loj

MylesRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My friends and I had an amazing time staying at Timothy's cabin - everything was exactly as indicated on the listing, and we thought the home itself was stunning. Beautiful architecture, furniture design, and a great location! We will absolutely be returning. Even though we were rained out most days we were there, it was the perfect spot to relax.
