We love Kara's place! This was our second time visiting. Our first visit was over the winter and it was great to enjoy the lovely outside atmosphere that this property offers now that the weather is nicer. It is so beautiful to come outside and have the water right there! The house is cozy, clean, and well equipped. We felt right at home as soon as we checked in. There are lots of great places to eat in the area and you are close to everything. Kara is a wonderful host and we look forward to visiting again this summer!

Sweet Dotties Cottage was better than expected. It was right on the water and even had a dock for our boat. It was very clean and exactly as described. The screened in porch was great at night. I highly recommend and will be visiting this property again.

This is the second time I've stayed at this place and I couldn't have been happier. The view is amazing, the hosts are so friendly and responsive, and the place itself is so cute, cozy, and comfortable. The next time I'm in the area, I will absolutely be booking with them again. What a peaceful home away from home! Living the "lake life" for a week was relaxing, beautiful, and fun to explore the lake on foot or the water! It was perfect for what we were looking for!

The host was very friendly and responded to all questions promptly, because of my reason, the laptop was left in the room when checking out, and when I remembered for a few days, I contacted the owner to confirm that I was in the room and quickly picked it up.Thank you so much for your help with the homeowner. 2. I love this house, there is a parking space at the entrance, the room is very warm, the kitchen is fully equipped, when you check out, there are instant noodles in the cupboard, which is very warm.

This house was perfect for our Christmas stay! Away was so kind when we asked about a late check out!

My son, our border collie dog and I had a wonderful stay at Margie’s place. We really enjoyed the property, the access to the lake and paddle board. There was plenty of yard to run around, play frisbee, soccer and enjoy the lake. Margie was really attentive and friendly and the other dogs were great friends for ours. Thanks for hosting us!

I can not express how much I loved my stay on Neville's boat. First, let me say, this is an older boat BUT the pictures are accurate. This boat has so much charm and the master bed is more comfortable than my bed at home. The marina community is super friendly and I just loved staying in this environment. I've been renting houses every year for my birthday and I've never had a host go above and beyond to make sure my stay and birthday became everything I had hoped for. THANK YOU NEVILLE!!!! I look forward to exploring your other priorities.

Anne Marie's place was exactly what we were looking for! It is extremely well stocked, with everything you might need, from kitchen appliances, extra blankets, many towels, etc. The surroundings were gorgeous and the area is very quiet and peaceful. Anne Marie was friendly and very responsive, answering questions quickly and flexibly. We can't wait to come back!

This cottage was the perfect stay for our long weekend! Great views of the lake and a nice place to hangout and enjoy the beautiful weather.

This Airbnb was truly better than the pictures. This lake house has its own private beach, is close to amazing eateries in Bantam and the house itself is modern and clean on the inside and is an amazing space to spend time. The deck and chairs as well as the fire pit and chairs on the beach make it all an amazing place to relax. Would stay again!!

This place and this host are both AWESOME! A few friends came last year for a weekend reunion and rented just the "Cabin." We liked it so much we came back this year and rented both the Cabin and the Cottage. Now we're all talking annual tradition. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The many ducks, rolling creek, 4 fire pits with different views, it's calm, quiet (save for some light gunfire from a shooting range close enough to hear), and exactly the private getaway we were looking for. The host could not be more hospitable. She makes sure she's available for anything we need while not being in any way obtrusive. She helped us get enough firewood for two whole days of fun with the fire pits, a rare treat for a city boy like me. As far as the Cabin vs Cottage, the Cabin has two separate bedrooms, but the Cottage is the truly stunning little hideaway with a view of the waterfall that even made a cozy place to watch the brief thunderstorm we had this weekend.

I was in town for a family event and wanted something other than a hotel room. The home was cozy and inviting, instructions were clear and precise. Being late October the weather was unbelievable warm. We (me and 2 sisters) were able to enjoy the wonderful deck and beautiful scenery. It was peaceful and quiet with an amazing views. This was our second stay and we had a wonderful time again. The house is beautiful and our two teenage sons had their own space. It was very quiet and peaceful, and Nat was a wonderful host who was responsive and helpful. We were able to create some new memories at this special house - thank you.

I stay at cottages, houses and hotels quite frequently. I would have to say that staying here was probably my favorite of all time hands down. Extremely peaceful and relaxing but at anytime you can be adventurous and explore the area or go kayaking. Kathy was absolutely amazing as a host and made our stay great. She’s a text away if you have any questions and is willing to go the extra mile if need be to make your stay that much better. Absolutely loved the house and it was better than the description I had read prior to booking. A complete must stay even being from CT.

My stay was everything I hoped for! The location to the lake was perfect and the views from the primary bedroom are perfect to wake up to in the morning! I was especially happy with the comfort of the bed, the linens and the pillows! I really enjoyed the fireplace. My stay was a very relaxing getaway, peaceful and rejuvenating!

John & Laurie’s home was warm and inviting for our group’s New Years holiday. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and a well stocked kitchen. We weren’t able to make use of the lake because it was January but enjoyed walks around the property and the incredible bird sightings ! Bedrooms were cozy and the home is clean and well sized for a big group. Thanks so much !

Beautiful traditional lake house! Very well stocked kitchen - everything you could want! Very cool wall art (pictures / paintings), knick-knacks, historical pictures / maps, books in every nook and cranny! Great for large families- items to accommodate both old and very young! Many board games, instruments, and a ping-pong table! And, of course, the yard and lake view were astonishing! The lake itself was clean and weed-free with very easy access. The boat house was convenient and well stocked. We swam, used the canoe, kayak, life vests, pool noodles, and kids' toys (all supplied by the host) and brought our own paddle boards as well. The lake is huge, but the location felt very private. Most times the lake traffic seemed relatively lite. Overall, an awesome experience - highly recommended! We did not have any issues to report with the house, but our host (Mitch) was always very responsive and helpful through booking, check-in, and departure - much appreciated!
