Spacious, immaculate studio with private keyless entry located in quiet residential neighborhood in southeast Albany. New furnishings, including queen-sized bed and a sofa bed. Only two miles to shopping areas or Albany downtown. Well-furnished kitchen with new, full-sized appliances. Bedroom and living area in same room. Very spacious and beautiful basement. Perfect place for crashing after exploring the area. Host was very upfront about kids living upstairs. I'm sure if you are there a lot during the day you would hear them playing and being kids in their home. However, I didn't hear them at all past 8pm when I was back for the night. The space was perfect for me and my trip.

Four of us coworkers had work in the area and used the castle house as our home base. Town is only 5 minutes away and getting to restaurants and stores is very easy. This place is a real vibe. Some might call it dated, but it all works together to create a unique spot, far more fun than 4 hotel rooms. Not to mention the theater and audio system, pool table, and fish tank downstairs. The basement bedroom has no window and a curtain rather than door, but it's the most cool, dark, and quiet of them all. Overall a memorable stay and highly recommended!

Great place to stay! Conveniently located near the store and a short walk to the lake. The house was quiet and we had everything we needed provided to us and more. The host was quick to reply eveytime I reached out before our stay and throughout answering all my questions. I was able to adjust our reservation without any issues. The entire house was clean and new. The layout felt spacious.
