We are located on U.S. Route 9. It is a well traveled, main road but close to everything! It is peaceful but not quiet. For nature lovers, explore the area with hikes on local trails or on a kayak down the river. We are 5miles from the Hudson River Skywalk, Olana and Thomas Cole. We are 3.9miles to Warren Street where you can enjoy a full day of shopping, spa and food. The Catskills has much to offer. The cottage is in the perfect area to enjoy it all year round!

David’s place in Catskill was great and he gave us so many helpful recommendations in the area! The cabin was clean, located close to downtown Catskill, and a short drive to some beautiful hikes and other cute towns.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely carriage house as a little getaway from the city following our wedding. Our criteria for an AirBnb was somewhere dog friendly with a comfy couch to settle in and read for a few days, and this was just that. We enjoyed the places close by recommended by our host, but we also ate a good number of our meals at the house using the little kitchen which worked well for us. This spot met our needs just right!

Karen and Buzz are exceptional hosts! What truly sets them apart is their outstanding attention to detail and genuine care for their guests - including the four-legged ones! After my journey, I was touched to find they had prepared a wonderful selection of snacks waiting for my arrival - a gesture that immediately made me feel welcomed and at home. This kind of thoughtfulness wasn't a one-time thing; it set the tone for my entire stay. My two pups were welcomed too and enjoyed freely exploring the beautiful property. Everything was spotlessly clean and exactly as described, but it was the little personal touches that made all the difference. I left feeling not just refreshed, but genuinely appreciated as a guest, and my pups seemed just as reluctant to leave! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a host who goes above and beyond to create a welcoming environment for both humans and pets, look no further. Five stars doesn't seem enough to capture how special this stay was!

The Orchard House-Entire Home

From the start of our reservation to checkout, Mitchel was quick to respond to all our inquiries, even on Memorial day. He arranged for an earlier check-in and was quick to provide instructions and restaurant recommendations. As for the house, it was indeed as stated: a working apple orchard and a renovated farmhouse. It felt to me like a good combination of original construction and modern retrofitting. The bathrooms had great water pressure and hot water; also showers in all three. Central heat and air was particularly welcome during our unusually cold stay (50 degrees in late May); space heaters were provided in all bedrooms. The house was incredibly quiet and peaceful, owing partly to its location but also really solid construction (no squeaking floors or thin walls). Definitely enough room and accommodation for 6 people. Would definitely consider revisiting.

Perfect location from Bard College, beautiful and comfortable house, lovely bedding and relaxing home, with all necessities for our stay. Toni was super responsive and helpful. Germantown has a lovely coffee/sandwich shop and we had a good dinner at the hotel there. Overall a perfect stay, thank you.
