What a beautiful place. We saw so many wild animals just roaming happily past the house. Its so peaceful. We spent most of the time on the deck. The rooms are amazing. Better than the pictures I would say and the pictures are stunning. We’ll definitely go back!

Had a wonderful Christmas weekend at Luna Rossa. The host was very responsive and attentive. The house is spacious, private and has all the amenities from the photographs including a pool and jacuzzi. Zebula Golf Estate and Spa, that the house is situated on, has various activities and amenities to enjoy. Would definitely come back.

We recently stayed at Waterfall House at Walkersons Estate in Dullstroom, and it was an unforgettable experience. The accommodation was luxurious, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The peaceful setting of the house and estate provided the perfect escape from everyday life. The owners of the house as well as Sylvia, the housekeeper, were incredibly friendly and helpful and ensured our stayed was as untroubled as possible. The estate also offers amenities such as bicycle rentals, hiking, horse riding and even a very relaxing spa. Overall, Waterfall House is a true gem, offering both comfort and relaxation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene getaway!

I highly recommend this location if you're looking to connect with nature or enjoy a peaceful moment with your family. Hoedspruit is an excellent place to immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature or experience some adventure. Susan and Per’s home is ideally situated in a secure estate monitored by security and surrounded by wildlife. We felt safe and well-connected. The home was updated, clean, and provided everything needed for a bush stay and more. We highly recommend this home for your next visit after exploring the wild. 5 stars!!!

It’s a beautiful, clean and private home. Poppy and Reuben were amazing, they were readily available for everything we needed.

Family of four had a great time. Home is large and very well laid out. Outdoor space is very nice. Tash was a great host. Went on full day game drive and had a wonderful time. Bushbucks, family of warthogs, bush baby, kudu, and others visited the house. Saw a hippo, elephants, and giraffes from the viewing deck. Would happily visit again!

Andre and Erna were phenomenal hosts. They were present, responsive, helpful, and positive. Andre came each night to help us feed the resident bush babies and Erna had a full breakfast in the fridge and on the counter for us our first morning in the canyon. Our arrival was delayed due to weather and Andre stayed up to ensure we had a smooth entry. They had treats for the kids by their beds and put thoughtful consideration into each guest's stay. The photos of the villa look cool but NOTHING could have prepared us for the view from the front eating patio nor the careful attention to detail in decorating and landscaping of the house. 100/100 recommend!

We have just come back from spending nine unforgettable nights at Penzhorn Rest Cottage and it exceeded all of our expectations - even better than the photos! Zonja, our host, welcomed us warmly on arrival and was so accommodating to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Her hospitality has honestly blown us away! The highlight of our stay was the daily sight and sound of the river with nightly hippo visitors which added such a magical touch to our stay, immersing us in the beauty and awe of the African bush. Whether enjoying a coffee while reading by the river or relaxing in the ‘bosbad’ every moment felt really special to us! Zonja’s meticulous eye for detail was evident in the small touches around the cottage which made us feel right at home. This is a haven for nature lovers seeking a luxurious yet authentic escape. If you decide to book this listing you won’t be disappointed! We left feeling rejuvenated and are already looking forward to returning!

A beautiful, peaceful and clean place. they surroundings did one's soul great, the beauty of the view of the lake. When we walked it, it felt like home, it was so clean, neat, clutter-free. The apartment unit smelt nice, fresh and had extra room sprays. The towels where beautiful folded soft and also smelled so nice. It felt like we checked into a 5-Star Hotel. Really such a stunning experience. We also had an exceptional excellent night's rest, comfortable bed with great quality linen. We had such an awesome experience. Thank you to the awesome and kind hosts, we are excited to book again!

A rustic, clean cottage. A few metres from an indigenous forest. A short walk to the ultra clear Stanford lake. A central location for all the atractractions in Magoebaskloof/Haenertsburg area.

This is a magical place to visit for a quiet getaway. All two and four legged travelers enjoyed this beautiful house on an even more beautiful land. The road getting there is a bit rough in spots so definitely recommend arriving during the day time. Highly recommend staying here!!

A rustic cottage in the woods, with a beautiful view of the dam. Very old house but everything works and has a wonderful old world charm. Fantastic, huge porch. Wishing I had booked another night!

We loved staying on the farm- such beautiful forests, a lake to swim in and a short walk to pick blueberries and have tea at a café.

We were looking to retreat away from people and noise to get refreshed. This home met our needs perfectly. Nothing but nature on every side of the cottage, with the occasional animal strolling by throughout the day. The house itself was well equipped with comfortable chairs and beds to relax and unwind. Sean and Alex were close enough and very responsive when we needed something, but otherwise you wouldn't even know they whether they were anywhere nearby or not. I also really enjoyed being able to walk around and explore freely with no shortage of places or distance to walk. Highly recommend!

An Unforgettable Stay at Elandsvlei! We had an absolutely incredible stay at Elandsvlei! The entire weekend was peaceful and rejuvenating. We explored every waterfall we could find, enjoyed picnics all over the farm, and took long, scenic walks. The offroading opportunities were fantastic and added a real sense of adventure to our trip. One of the true highlights was stargazing in the boma by a cozy fire — an experience we’ll never forget. The sunrises streaming through our windows each morning were simply breathtaking. The house we stayed in was perfect — it had everything we needed and more, making our stay extremely comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. We were warmly welcomed at the gate and personally escorted to our accommodation. Elandsvlei truly exceeded all our expectations, and we can't wait to return!
