Vacation rentals in Lightning Ridge

Sonja's place is as described and what you see in the pictures. It was nice to have the air conditioning and have a washing machine and dryer available. The outside/sun room at the front was a nice place to sit, especially when traffic slowed at the end of the afternoon. We only spent two nights there and were out for the day, but it's comfortable and a good location. Sonja is a great host, responsive, kind and helpful. Would recommend.

We loved this place. It was big and very comfortable. Had everything we needed. We were a bit worried on our way in and thought we were in the wrong place, then saw the "tin shack" and we thought oh no, but inside it was everything Rebel said it was, the outside blended with the surroundings. The views from the house were simply stunning. We would definitely recommend this place. Rebel was in contact and very helpful throughout our stay.

The quirky oasis was fabulous Unfortunately, the outdoor shower was not instructed well enough, despite so many instructions about everything else, and 24 hours without communication on how it worked . Ordinarily it would not matter but I had my grandson with me and we needed the shower. The place is basic but very LR appropriate. I’m a regular visitor to the Ridge and really loved the view.

We’ve had a lovely time at the Old School House! It was a great and unique experience. Marianne was very kind and helpful. Thank you for being a great host Marianne.

Our stay at Minors Cottage was a wonderful escape from our busy lives. The property was beautiful and set up like our own private retreat. Upon stepping inside we felt right at home. Naomi left a lovely bottle of wine and marshmallows and chocolate for the children. The linens and beds were fresh and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the cabin was immaculate. Our children loved roasting s’mores on the backyard fire pit and fossicking for opals (we even found some tiny little souvenirs!). Naomi was a wonderful host and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Leigh has created a very beautiful thoughtful space on her Lightning Ridge property. We had a truly refreshing experience, the mattress is very comfortable, the bath is lovely and the bush outlook is relaxing. We enjoyed the extra provisions of fresh fruit and the little extras that made it the perfect getaway. Thank you!

Very comfortable house that is well set up. I have stayed before and will try to book again.
