We just a wonderful few days in Boston for the marathon. Maude was the perfect host… we really appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out and were so grateful for the provisions left for us, particularly as we arrived late! The location is perfect, it meant that we could explore everywhere in the City on foot. The neighbourhood is particularly great for restaurants and when the sun came out and the temperature rose, the vibe was fabulous. As a previous review mentioned, if you’re looking for a pristine, freshly painted apartment then it’s not for you, but if you like ‘quirky’ and a house with bags of character, (I especially loved the art), then I’d highly recommend.

The cottage is cozy and comfortable, including the beds. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet very accessible to hiking trails, beaches, restaurants, and shops. Fiona was extremely friendly and helpful. She is definitely a Super Host! We would happy have stayed longer if we could have! For those who like to ride your bike: Rt. 127, the main road that goes around Cape Ann, is very narrow and has no shoulder, so I don't recommend planning to bike there.

We had 6 people and I felt if 8 people in this house as advertised might be a bit cramped. Living area was small, one bathroom very tiny, bedrooms adequate. We had a very nice stay !!

The location is hard to describe because it’s SO beautiful!! You can’t go wrong here. Perfection in every way. That we can assure. The winter is especially awesome- so we recommend you go for it. This beautiful home is great for families. My family of 8 adults and 1 dog stayed for a weekend. The home is clean clean clean and has everything a family could need. Games galore! Although our stay was for a sad reason (laying sister to rest) the home brought us together as a family. Plenty of room and great location. I highly recommend. I will rent again during summer!

Ken & Amy were great hosts! They were very responsive with communication. The space was neat, clean and cozy. Although I didn’t utilize the kitchen, it was beautiful to have available. There was plenty of counter space and a wide variety of kitchen utensils. They had great amenities from kitchen supplies to laundry supplies. The bathroom had a heater which was nice when getting out of the shower on a cold day! My overall stay was great! Thank you so much!

Ashley’s Hummingbird Cottage was terrific. It was quiet and immaculate. It was close to conservation land for walking and area beaches and wildlife. She was quick to respond and so easy to deal with. It snowed while we were there and we got up to a cleaned off car! We appreciated the box of croissants to great us. We will certainly think of her again when we head towards that area!

I was very happy here for over three months, from mid-December through the end of March. It was me and an old dog. The initial draw was the fenced yard, which did not disappoint. Heads up that a very small dog or determined escape artist might find some vulnerabilities, but not an issue for me and a total score. The human amenities exceeded expectations as well. It’s a smaller space but doesn’t feel small because of the openness and very smart utilization of space. Yes, the shower size is unfortunate but there's no way to make it bigger I managed just fine as a larger person. The water pressure is good, so it's forgivable. I bake a lot so I loved having the gas oven/stove, and the fact that there's also a full-size dishwasher here is bananas awesome. Happy that the queen bed in the main room and solo twin bed in the second room are high enough to allow for large suitcases to be tucked away underneath. I kept plenty warm throughout a very cold winter. Would definitely come back!

We could not have found a better place to stay while having renovations done at our own home. We packed up our gaggle of golden retrievers and one beagle and felt welcomed the moment we stepped into the house. There were treats for the dogs, blankets to put on the couch, verrrry comfortable twin-sized memory foam dog beds and endless amounts of toys for our pups to enjoy. There was also a treat station as well as lickit mats and doggie painting to keep these retrievers happy and busy. This house is so dog friendly. It’s a perfect balance of a beautiful home for the humans that is also perfect for the dogs. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen large and well-stocked with necessities, such as paper towels, dish soap, dishes, pots and pans and that stove…. Beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and cozy. If the dogs hadn’t wanted to get up so early, we may have slept part of the day away. Having the availability to do laundry was also very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Daniella's place was perfect for my needs. I spent two months in the area to help out family, and this studio was a cozy place to rest, relax and cook. Plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. Handy to all that Burlington has to offer. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, living and sleeping space cozy and comfortable. Walk in closet with room to store everything I had with me. Even though this apartment is attached to the house, it was very quiet and felt completely private. I will definitely stay here again!

Beautifully renovated home in a peaceful and serene location that was perfect for my family of four and my MIL with mobility challenges thanks to a first floor bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower. We didn’t need the kitchen for cooking but it had all needed and necessary items if we had wanted to. The entire home was comfortable and cozy - the radiant flooring throughout the house and in the entryway mudroom was amazing. We also didn’t need to use the washer and dryer while we were there, but it was nice to know it was available if needed. In general, most of the rooms were much larger than what you see in the photos - especially the kitchen and dining areas. The table and island with stools allowed my kids to spread out and do school work using the home’s WiFi (no challenges at all with speed or access). Emily was easy to communicate with and quick to respond, which I appreciated. Family loved the location and we’ll add it to the list for return trips to the area.

What a lovely place! Perfectly decorated, incredibly well-maintained, tons of space, sparkling clean, and in a wonderful location. Five minute walk to Northeastern, super easy walk to Fenway, and less than a 30 minute very scenic walk to the Back Bay area (it was such a beautiful walk, we did it multiple times during our stay). The homes (including this one) are amazing, great places to eat nearby, etc. This is definitely one of my favorite places, and I would absolutely book it again. I've already recommended it to some friends who will be traveling to Boston over the summer! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Our stay at Dogtown Cabin was absolutely wonderful! Julie was consistently available for any questions or concerns and she was kind and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin itself was cozy yet spacious. Plus it was equipped with everything we needed to help make our stay comfortable. They had some great trails on the property and my family had a great time exploring them. The beautiful property is serene and private but close enough to a lot of tourists destinations. And let’s not forget the animals! My son had a great time meeting the horses and chickens. But I will say hands down the best part of our stay were our adorable furry hosts, Darwin and Azore! They greeted us every morning! Hanging out with them made our stay even more special! We honestly can’t wait to come back.

I came down to visit family in Massachusetts over Thanksgiving and needed a place to stay that was equidistant to everyone, and the Newburyport area was a great fit. Steve's place is a lovely small beach home on a quiet side street. Perfect size for one person plus dogs. The dog friendly part, easy and safe walking, quiet neighborhood, and the kitchen were big selling points for me. Parking was easy. Water was hot, bathroom was spotless. Would stay again.
