A peaceful and quiet place for a restful get away…one of the most beautiful views on Smith Lake. Lynn was very responsive and provided all information needed prior to check-in.

Wonderful place to relax! The home is beautifully decorated and well equipped for a comfortable stay! Downstairs room is perfect for my teenagers And plenty of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the views and scenery! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this listing as well as the host !!! The view alone once you arrive is worth it !!! We came across this listing due needing to find a place that was close to my Grandfather’s nursing home in Jasper as we came in from Minnesota to say our goodbyes. I explained to the host the situation of why we were needing to find somewhere close but also have somewhere that was peaceful at the end of some very emotional days . Also I might add being able to bring our pet with made this trip 10 times easier than what we had originally expected . We have a 78 lb service animal for my son who is severely autistic as well as non verbal, he is his comfort most days when he is so easily overstimulated. Anna even offered some kinds words considering the reason we came down . It also made it easier to go back and forth when it came to food/cooking considering my allergies . Thank you Anna for being so kind & responding back so promptly! This will def be our go to from now on when visiting.

Charming, rustic home! We enjoyed the screened porch, lake view and cozy atmosphere. The Alabama people were so welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed local cafes, Singo, karaoke, and botanical gardens.

This is a beautiful home. I love how you don’t feel like your in someone else’s home but like your in own home. The host is very responsive and so friendly. Can’t wait to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very well done! It was comfortable, very clean and the view of the lake perfect. Daniel was very responsive to all our questions. If we are in the area again we Wouk’s definitely stay here again.

Great location, with gorgeous view! Easy check in. The house was very clean, and nicely decorated. The bathrooms are updated with large walk-in showers. Shannon, our host, was very kind and made every step of my husband’s 50th birthday at the lake, so enjoyable.

Kari’s place is awesome. We stayed there for a fishing tournament. There was plenty of room to park truck and boat in driveway. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place to stay on the water!

Pintail Point was exactly what our family was looking for when we decided we wanted to spend some time at Smith Lake. Great set up, beautiful views, fantastic dock, spacious house and property, all while being hosted by a great host who provided basket of snacks and bottles of water, having some paper products there already to make your stay easy to get started, some shampoos and conditioners, and plenty of nice plush towels. House is well stocked in kitchen and the 2 story dock has 4 kayaks, paddles, and life preservers. The multi layered decks have gas and charcoal grills plus a fire pit gas table is such a nice touch. We all hope to visit Pintail Point again in the future. It is a place that will be a great memory for our family. Special thank you to Josh. We thoroughly enjoyed our family's stay at Cottages # 1 and # 2. It was beautiful and peaceful. What a gorgeous setting! We were able to access the docks and rented a boat which we kept there overnight. As others have mentioned, there are 130 steps down to the dock from Cottage 1. Cottage 2's path to the other deck had less steps but you also have to walk on a rocky trail. Cottage 2's deck is covered. The only other issue at Cottage 1 was the steeper / gravel driveway, which has also been mentioned in a review. Cottage 2's driveway was level. It was okay for us because we had a truck with 4WD. We parked the sedan further up the hill. We didn't mind the walk to Cottage 1 or between the cottages, but an elderly person might. Otherwise, these 2 cottages were in a picture-perfect setting and we had great time there with our families, babies and dogs! Thank you!

The perfect getaway for our multi-family vacation! The property was not only beautiful inside and out, but so well equipped that everything from cooking to playing in the lake was made easy and enjoyable. We enjoyed the peddle boat, kayaks, lily pad, and reading by the lake on the many seating options on the decks and dock. The hosts were always responsive and friendly. We will absolutely be back!

Was in town for a bass tournament on Smith Lake. I had my boat with me and this place was great for a fisherman or a family. Great parking situation with access to electricity for charging batteries. The farm and pond were very cool and the house was clean and well equipped with everything a person needs. Will be staying here again when I am fishing smith.

Michelle was super responsive. We booked last minute and she went out of her way to decorate for Christmas even. House was amazing. Well stocked and felt very much at home. We enjoyed watching boats zoom by too. Thank you for a great stay!!!!

Kayla was super responsible, helpful, flexible and accommodating. The house was clean, as described and perfect for a few families to stay for a basketball tournament. The only complaint I have is we wanted to grill our back but the grill was not clean which was unfortunate but not a deal breaker. Would definitely recommend this stay!
