Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

The Garden Room

The Garden Room is our wee sleepout that overlooks our peaceful garden, which can be appreciated during all seasons of the year. Conveniently located just off the highway, with plenty of quiet street parking. It’s only about a 5min walk to Countdown/Warehouse, a 15min walk from downtown, & about 10 to the botanical gardens & hospital. The kitchen is stocked with a refrigerator, kettle, hot plate, and air fryer/electric oven. You will likely meet our friendly cat, Murphy! X2 bikes if requested

This huge architecturally designed house was built in the 80’s and recently renovated with new paint, new floors, curtains, bathrooms and kitchen. This is the perfect escape for the large family or group that wants to be close to town but still enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the South Canterbury countryside. 10 minutes to Timaru CBD and beautiful Caroline Bay, 8 minutes to Pleasant Point, 25 minutes to beautiful Geraldine and just over an hour to the gorgeous tourist destination of Tekapo.

This hidden gem is very conveniently located, close (walking distance) to our town centre with cafes, restaurants and bars overlooking our beautiful Bay. Our coastal walking track runs directly past this house, which invites safe and scenic walks or mountain biking. Aquatic centre and tennis courts are also just a stone throw away. Supermarket and Fast food options just a walk across the park.
