Papayas was just what we needed - simple place to spend a night on Mahe. The rooms were simple and clean but lots of space for the group we had. Papayas is a little far from town and restaurants but easy to get to those with a taxi or lift. Jimmy was really helpful in collecting us from the airport and helping us around town. We enjoyed our stay.

Die Unterkunft war einfach traumhaft – super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit einer Aussicht vom Balkon, die man am liebsten einpacken würde! Die Lage war perfekt – ruhig, aber trotzdem zentral, sodass man alles schnell erreichen konnte. Man benötigt unbedingt ein Auto, welches man auch bequem über das Unterkunft mieten kann. Besonders toll war aber die Gastgeberin Therese: unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man hat sofort gemerkt, dass ihr das Wohl der Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Sie hat uns immer geholfen und sogar den Restaurant reserviert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt – ganz klare Empfehlung und wir kommen gerne wieder! Herzlichsten Dank an Therese und Peter für den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt.

Die Wohnung liegt mitten in der Eden Island Anlage und hat einen tollen Blick auf das Wasser. Sehr schön und komfortabel eingerichtet. Georges war sehr zuvorkommend und schnell erreichbar. Das zur Wohnung gehörende Golfcart macht es leicht zur Rezeption oder zu einem Restaurant und zurück zur Wohnung zu gelangen. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft! Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben – sauber und gemütlich. Die Lage war gut, in der Nähe von Victoria. Man konnte mit den Bussen auch auf die andere Seite des Berges gelangen und zu schönen Stränden fahren. Die Bushaltestelle war ca. 3-4 Min zu Fuß entfernt, auf dem Weg hoch gab es ein paar Läden zum Einkaufen. Die Gastgeberin war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, reagierte schnell auf Nachrichten. Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet – von der Kaffeemaschine bis zu Adaptern, Haarföhn und Bügeleisen war alles vorhanden. Ich kann diesen Ort wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The pool was absolutely fantastic, and the host was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. But what really made our stay stand out was the host's assistance with our ETA visa application. She was so kind and helpful and made the process so much easier for us. We can't thank her enough for her support and guidance. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool was a highlight, and we spent many happy hours lounging in the sun. Overall, we would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay. And if you need any help with visa applications, this host is the one to turn to! Thank you again for everything!

We can’t find the right words to describe Shirley….she is an angle and helped us in an unfortunately situation. She was there immediately-even though it was late at night. Shirleys accomodation is simply paradise. The apartment has a private garden and it is beautiful. Everything was clean and spotless. She also offered us local food which was delicious. We highly reconmend Shirlys accomodation

Wonderful place! Super easy to reach from the airport, quick and straightforward check-in and check-out. Fantastic views from the balconies, peaceful but not isolated and well equipped with nice linens and a full kitchen. The golf cart is a great touch too. I’d stay again!

Charles's place was exactly what we needed. We were warmly welcomed by both Charles and his wife, and immediately felt at home. Both are very kind and nice to chat with. The view from the balcony is definitely amazing. Calming and breathtaking. The place is well decorated with a spacious dinner table, sofas, great bedroom and even sunbeds on the balcony. It is well equipped. Everything felt new, clean and shiny. The parking space is also important, since a car is recommended in order to enjoy Mahe. We would be more than happy to visit again!

I was lucky enough to upgrade to the master bedroom and let me tell you the space and views were amazing. Although the villa was shared it still felt like home which was good because our stay was 30 days. I also rented a vehicle for my entire stay and having the electric car was convenient and effortless. Jhon was absolutely amazing and very helpful. I’ll definitely be back!!!

Na een vermoeiende trip van een week op een catamaran hadden we nog een volledige dag vooraleer we ‘s avonds terug naar huis vlogen. In deze tropische hitte zagen we het niet zitten om met onze valiezen ergens op een terras de uren te gaan aftellen. Ik vroeg hun of we ipv een overnachting, enkel overdag mochten verblijven en ze waren meteen akkoord. We waren zeer blij met de airco, de nette hygiënische kamer en badkamer met ruime douche en het verfrissende zwembad. Het zwembad water leek iets troebel wel en ik vermoedde dat de chloor op was, als enige suggestie zou ik heb aanbevelen dit goed op te volgen. Verder was de ontvangst ook dik in orde. Ik had heb een richtuur gegeven en er stond ons iemand op te wachten aan de ingang. Hij hielp met de valiezen en toonde ons de weg. We waren met 4 ipv 2 voor 1 kamer (omdat het enkel voor overdag was) en we wouden graag elk douchen en in het zwembad zitten dus vroeg ik naar extra handdoeken en ook dit was geen probleem.
