From the moment we arrived, we knew we had stepped into something special. Nestled in the hills near Guatavita, this serene retreat offers more than a stay—it offers an experience. The pictures don’t do it justice. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and full of charm, it was perfect for our group of five. The meals were unforgettable—the baked chicken and BBQ feast were divine, and breakfasts each day were perfect. The “wild” animals added magic, and the staff, warm and attentive, kept the fires glowing. Bring essentials (and marshmallows!) as the road in is rugged and nearby shops are limited. Guatavita, just minutes away, is a gem—don’t miss the tomato soup at La Cava or artisan chocolate at Guataland. This home is a soulful sanctuary filled with love, comfort, and wonder. We came seeking rest and left with memories we’ll treasure forever. We will return.

Este sitio es realmente hermoso. Se nota que en ese espacio ha habido un fuerte trabajo de buena energia que se siente desde la entrada. La filosofia de vida de Maria Elisa y su familia, permacultura, es alli vibrante. Aprendimos mucho de ello, nos conto con generosidad la historia del lugar. La cabaña es privada por completo, en un espacio solo para estar muy tranquilos, pero a la vez totalmente comoda. Usamos la chimenea y entonces logramos un ambiente magico durante los dias que estubimos alli. Recomiendo este alojamiento como un espacio de paz y tranquilidad

Absolute Perfection at Finca LA Cima. The house is beautifully decorated & designed—every detail has been carefully considered. It’s brand new & spotless (the photos are 100% accurate), everything feels fresh, very high-quality, and extremely welcoming. The view is absolutely incredible and you are literally at the top of a mountain. The pickleball court, putting green, and especially the jacuzzi made our stay even better. Simply being at the house was soul-refreshing. It’s an unbelievable feat of engineering that the host, Mirley, has pulled off here—building a house of this quality on top of a mountain is truly impressive. I can’t even begin to imagine how she was able to do it, but she did, and because of that, this is truly a one-of-a-kind property. Our kids had a great time here also, lots of space, fun environment, and blazing fast internet. Javier, the groundsman, was fantastic! This is hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in and we genuinely didn’t want to leave!

Llegamos durante un día en extremo lluvioso, Nelson estuvo todo el camino pendiente de nosotros, tanto de ida Como de regreso. La casa está equipada con todo lo Necesario para pasar un par de días desconectados de la rutina. La vista definitivamente vale la pena.

Nos quedamos 1 día Pros: vista espectacular. Pudimos hacer fogata. Tiene lo necesario para cocinar. La casa es muy linda. no me gustan los perros pero tenían 3 muy amables, nos acompañaban a caminar y nos hacían sentir protegidos. El señor que cuida es súper buena gente, nos hizo el favor de comprar unas cervezas y algo de comida, hasta pudimos ordeñar sus vacas, muy chévere. Check out tarde y flexible Cons: para llegar hay que ir muchoooo tiempo por carretera destapada. La ubicación que nos dieron estaba mal y nos terminamos metiendo por otra destapada muy difícil. Le tocó al señor que cuida ir a rescatarnos. Tan lejos de todo que decidimos quedarnos a disfrutar la casa porque hasta las tiendas quedan lejos. Recomiendo llevar todo lo que necesiten desde Ubate (todo). Para salir a caminar solo hay el mismo camino de los carros. Dentro de la propiedad hay una caminata de 20-30 minutos ida-vuelta. nos gustan las caminatas más largas. En general bonito pero muy difícil llegar

Nice cozy house with a spectacular view of the lake. Daniel and also the housekeeper that received us were very attentive and kind. The access road to the house are unpaved and the uphill is steep so I would recommend to go on a reliable vehicle. Very remote and quiet place to have a relaxed stay, overall we lived it!

ufff.... quisiera comentarles mucho de este Alojamiento y bueno si quieren desconectarse del mundoy reencontrarse, disfrutar del hermoso paisaje, de la laguna, del impresionante jardín, del canto de las aves... y más mucho más!!! tienen que venir aquí, es ideal para parejas y también para familias y amigos, nosotros viajamos con nuestro hijo de 18, 4 amigos de su misma edad, y nuestra nana,y pasamos días maravillosos y muy divertidos haciendo todas las actividades de recreación que ofrecen.... nosotros repetiremos cientos de veces solo por ver a Carlos crecer, y por volver a sentirnos como sentimos allí. Si hacen un asado es lo mejor.... nos quedamos sin palabras, sigue así Carlos. 🥰🥰🥰
