Waterfront vacation rentals in Leelanau County

Lovely location. Beautiful surroundings. Lots to do around the area. I found the people around the area to be rude and somewhat unfriendly. I have visited lots of different locations around the states and have never felt like that before. I never met anyone from whom we rented the place from. We never needed anything either though so I suppose that's a good thing. Price wise is my only complaint. For such a small place it wasn't reasonable price wise. However we made it work and had a wonderful time. I definitely recommend this place for a small group only. 4 or less.

This was a perfect place to stay for a few days while in the area for a conference. The place was clean and comfortable. The beach access was a nice added bonus.

Beautiful stay on a beautiful and very private beach. Very close to visit Sleeping Bear Dunes but once you are settled on this beach you will not want to leave! We highly recommend!

Right on Main Street, just a couple minute walk to the heart of downtown Leland. The perfect home base for relaxing in between beach walks, swimming, shopping, and eating. The attic was larger than pictures showed! There was pretty much everything you’d need to feel comfortable. Nicolle was very inviting and easy to communicate with. Hopefully we’ll be back again!

Very beautiful views of the lake, sunrise was spectacular! Beach is at your doorstep, grill outside, all the necessities inside. We really enjoyed the location of it!

The condo was nicely decorated and clean! Our family of 3 was very comfortable there. The beds were comfy and the bathroom shower was so nice and updated! Aprille was great with communication and we would love to stay here again sometime. Thanks for a great stay!

Incredible location that was super clean with all new appliances. The host took time to ensure we were welcome - the communication was very good. Easy to access and within walking distance of the water and everything downtown Suttons Bay.

Location, location, location! Sitting on the bluff looking out over Lake Michigan is everything this home is about. An absolutely beautiful view and grounds. The house could easily sleep 12 and leave plenty of space for everyone to have. Matthew responded very fast and made this process very easy. The outdoor fire pit area was awesome! The deck was big and offered spectacular views of both Lake Michigan and the stars at night. I am very familiar with the area so finding it was no problem at all. I thought Matthew gave great directions if someone was not familiar with the area. The beds were very comfortable and no one seem to complain. Only a few things I thought needed attention. The house could use some upgrades as it is showing its age and where. Certainly not to the point where it is rundown, but just the basics. Peeling wallpaper, a few cobwebs here and there cut linoleum floor, but that’s really it. Overall, it was a great day and we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you, Matthew.

Not only was the house beautiful, clean, and comfortable but being able to bring our dog was so very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and would recommend others stay here, as well.

We had 5 adult couples stay for 2 nights. Three couples had their own rooms and 2 shared the basement. We've all known each other over 20 years so sharing the room in the basement was not an issue. With that said, Dana made it a point to ask and ensure that we knew the details of the rooms, which stood out to me as thoughtful. Check-in/check-out was smooth and easy and driving up the driveway, you got the feeling of immediate privacy. One of the most stunning moments of our trip was to walk into the house and catch the view of the lake! The kitchen was probably one of the most well-appointed ones we've seen on Airbnb or VRBO. We had advance plans for a few places during the trip, so did not spend a great deal of time at the house, but all couples agreed that you could make a get-away at this house and not even have to leave the property. All in, a wonderful stay, and a very communicative and flexible host. Great experience...including seeing the bald eagle on our way out.

Much needed weekend getaway from the city, Barry’s place was great top floor secluded in the corner with a beautiful view of the bay, lucked out with some great sunsets my last 2 nights there. Would definitely stay again!

Mandy was great right from the start. I was frantically looking for a house that could accommodate a family of 6 while still giving everyone their space, when I came across the listing I was so excited, but dates were not in my favor in regards to availability. I reached to to Mandy and booked moments later. We were able to check in beforehand which just gets vacation going sooner than later! The view from the second you walk in the door is gorgeous! All rooms had plenty of space for your own items, I am one that unpacks even for 2 nights and love drawers and hangers LOL. The only thing, and I might have not seen it correctly is that the twin bed room and Queen bed room are swapped. I thought the Queen room had the full bath, but my brother, SIL and baby were just fine with the 1/2 bath. Definitely on the list for next year's adventure!

Holly was so helpful and accommodating. We were in town for a conference, her place was right next door, easy drive or walkable if interested. It was so nice to have the living space and kitchen, that always beats a hotel stay!

This was out 2nd stay at Mark and Annette’s. We love the location close to town and marina where we keep our rented boat for the week. Kitchen is well stocked. We brought our toddler this time and the primary bedroom had plenty of room for 3 of us

We enjoyed our stay at Dawn's condo! The unit was clean and offered all of the amenities we needed for our weekend in Traverse City. This place offered a great view of the bay and was only a short drive away from downtown. We plan to stay here again in the summer!

My wife Beverly have vacationed at The Homestead many times and Robin’s condo is now our favorite. The location and balcony views were breathtaking and autumn strolls along the Crystal River were beautiful. The condo was magnificently updated, immaculate, and well appointed.

My wife Beverly and I enjoyed a 5-Day 5-Star getaway to Dan’s condo in Suttons Bay. First, Suttons Bay is a quaint and picturesque town on the crystal blue waters of Suttons Bay, and Dan’s condo offers the best of both worlds because the place is on the waterfront and also a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants. We loved Dan’s condo! The nautical theming was charming, the interior space comfortable and immaculate, and we loved to sit on the Adirondack chairs on the large patio with magnificent waterfront views of Suttons Bay and the Marina. The outdoor heaters made chilly evenings and early mornings quite cozy. When you stay for 5-Days, you can usually expect a disappointment or problem, but our 5-Day stay went perfectly, no disappointments and no problems…just a wonderful getaway! Thanks Dan for your hospitality!

Comfortable condo with only a short drive to downtown Traverse City. Very nice location! Great communication from booking to checkout. We would definitely book again.
