Great place for the price and was well stocked with everything that could have made a great stay plus a responsive and friendly host

Caytie was a very responsive, flexible, and understanding host! She did everything she could to ensure a great stay for my group and we couldn’t be more grateful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our kind and gracious hosts were the cherry on top of this beautiful, scenic, and peaceful rental! Would happily stay again.

Elizabeth’s place is truly one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home to all 12 of us—a rare and special feeling when traveling with a large group. The space was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. Elizabeth went above and beyond, staying responsive and accommodating every step of the way, which made our stay smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re already hoping to return next year—it wouldn’t feel right going anywhere else!

We have been regulars here for a few months and love this home away from home! Gaynell is super friendly and always goes above and beyond to be as accommodating as possible. It was warm enough to be outside this time, and the kids loved running around the yard after our long trip! I can’t recommend their place enough, they are wonderful hosts and the house is extremely comfortable and welcoming 🙂

Halley is a great host! I booked very last minute and she was very accommodating. Halley was very communicative and quick to respond, which was very appreciated. There are food places 15-30 minute away depending on what you choose. We ate Friday dinner at 145 Roadhouse. Their filet was tender with great flavor! On Saturday we enjoyed a nice breakfast outside on the balcony of Halley's home. We had planned to walk Natural Bridge State Park on Saturday, but mother nature decided differently for us. So we went to a store about 5-10 minutes away and bought some games to play. We spent the rest of the afternoon with the windows open, listening to the rain. While playing games with the slight breeze that blew through the home. Saturday night we had dinner at Hop's. Hop's food is farm to table and they had live music. The artists playing were playing something alittle different from what we are used to, but it was very enjoyable. The spaghetti was amazing! Would most definitely stay again!

Hidden Magnolia was a great cabin for a weekend away with friends. Beds were super comfortable and relaxing on the porch surrounded by trees was great. Great suggestions for restaurants things to do near the cabin. If it was drier out, we would’ve used the fire ring and grill! As other reviews have said, a suv or 4x4 makes getting there easier. There was a lot of rain the weekend we went and I doubt a sedan would handle the gravel road well. Highly recommend the cabin and we’re already discussing going back down for another unplugged weekend.

Such a cute place to stay with a great kitchen! I would definitely recommend this space for your next vacation.

The Lady Slipper apartment was the perfect base for all of my hiking adventures in the Red River Gorge...located right in the middle of it all. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay for myself and my dog.

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

Great location will definitely stay again

The perfect private getaway. About 30 minutes away to lots of hiking trails in red river and a quick drive to the store. Suzanne was super helpful and responsive. Gave us many things to do/see!

Beautiful cabin, perfect location for Muir Valley. I loved it and will be back as soon as possible.

When looking for a place to stay is always tricky, but Ian’s place was clean, private, rustic. A great getaway ! Will definitely be back!

Our stay at Nancy's place was great. You will have to follow written instructions once you check in, GPS will not get you there. The road to the cabin is narrow and many steep inclines, but I know this is not unusual for cabins in the area. The large deck area was where we spent a lot of our time. Would stay again!

By far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Beautiful and peaceful. Even though there are cabins next door they are placed perfectly so you have your own oasis. The entire place was clean and set up to be so relaxing. Great accommodations and definitely worth the price.

Awesome cabin in the woods! Cozy spot with great views. Super close to a lot of world class climbing. Super fast internet and a comfy bed! Thanks Emmanuel for sharing your spot. Would highly recommend the location for any solo or a couple climbing in the Red.

Staying at The Hooting Owl was an absolute dream! The house is stunning—beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. From the moment we booked, the communication was over-the-top amazing—so responsive, kind, and truly dedicated to making our stay perfect. Every part of our stay was magical, but the daily visits from the peacocks and the sweet dog, Mable, made it even more special! It was such a joy to wake up and be greeted by these beautiful animals, adding an extra touch of charm and fun to an already perfect getaway. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing hospitality, stunning surroundings, and a few delightful animal friends, The Hooting Owl is the place to be! This is our third time staying with H&P Cabins - amazing as always! Larry hosts the best cabins near the Gorge. Looking forward to coming back in the future.
