We were in the area for a wedding and enjoyed the cottage before and after the event. Upon arrival, a basket filled with sweets awaited us: chocolate, cake, wine, cheese and bottles of wine, and we were very touched by this attention. We were able to enjoy the hot tub, there was also a ping pong table, in short, enough to pass the time. Despite the rainy weather we were able to enjoy the garden furniture during a clearing… In addition, Hannah was always available to communicate with us when needed but we did not have the chance to meet her in person and I hope we will have the opportunity one day. We had a lovely time in Virginia's cottage. A true haven of peace, perfect for recharging your batteries: calm, relaxation, and the icing on the cake… a Jacuzzi that really invites you to relax! The cottage is impeccable, perfectly maintained, and the fully fenced yard was ideal for our dog. A big thank you to Virginia for hosting and responsiveness. We highly recommend this little piece of heaven!

Michel and Maryelle welcomed us in the nicest of ways: available hosts and concerned about the comfort of their visitors; a friendly and delicious welcome galette brought on arrival; an ideal place, quiet and bucolic; a perfectly comfortable, clean, carefully decorated tiny; our kids even had an egg hunt organized by them anyway, we loved it and thank you for everything! we'll be back with pleasure 😊

This place is beautiful! It is spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The setting is private and peaceful, but just a short drive from a lovely village with a grocery store, bakery and small restaurant. Our host was extremely kind and helpful, quick to respond to any questions. We would happily stay here again.

Exceptional stay!! 😍😍😍 The house and the property are even more amazing in real life than in photos even if these are still very attractive already... Debbie & Guy are absolutely adorable. Looks like they've thought of everything to make you feel at home. Numerous activities are available: pétanque, mini-golf, foosball and of course swimming pool. La Grande Cheminée is a very quiet and warm place 1 hour from Mont Saint-Michel. In short, I highly recommend it!!! 👍❤️😊

If airbnb could create a 6th star, Norbert would definitely deserve it! we loved this stay, the highlights: - upstream communication with explanations to find the accommodation (photo by text) - excellent hospitality with real attention from Norbert - clean accommodation and the decor is (according to our taste) awesome! - The place is peaceful and relaxing - the wood stove guarantees pleasant and cozy evenings - Our host remained available for the entire stay. The accommodation matches the photos very well. It is very spacious and tastefully furnished, we had a great time there with 17 adults. The welcome is perfect, our hosts were very nice and available.
