Beautiful apartment and close to every thing around like shops and restaurants, clean and very responsive once you ask a question.

This is a very well-renovated top floor 2br. It's very quiet (they installed a very solid floor) and the overall vibe is a perfect mix of modern convenience with century-old DC charm. We had one small question while we were there and the hosts responded immediately. Great stay.

It was very nice staying at Stan's cottage. It's like a tiny oasis in this rapid world of technology, and chaos. Very peaceful, quiet, cozy, and clean. CJ greeted us when we arrived, helped us with our bags, and cut fresh flowers for me when we arrived (super sweet). We got great recommendations for restaurants and take out. And finally, it was a true pleasure spending our last minutes with Stan. We enjoyed hearing about his love of travel and of birding...it would have been nice to stay a little longer...we look forward to hearing "the adventures of Stan" someday soon.

JD is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and communicative. He was incredibly easy to work with, sympathetic, friendly, and trustworthy. We had to adjust the dates of our stay and he was flexible and accommodating.

Courtney's place was perfect for our trip! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, there are restaurants just a short walk away, and it was a quick drive to downtown. The place was very clean and comfortable with some natural light despite being a basement apartment. This didn't bother us because we had to be up early, but if you're a light sleeper be aware that the sound travels from above since it's a basement apartment.

His place has everything you would need. There were lots of snacks that were left for us, as well as kitchen basics for cooking. Lots of toiletries in case you forgot something.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very comfortable for our family of five with the three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Everything was extremely clean and neat. We enjoyed the beautiful, quiet neighborhood with several nice restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Washington. The only minor problem was finding a place to park on the street, but that comes with staying in a big city.

Fantastic find right in the downtown old city area. Parking was easy and the place was located in walking distance of the waterfront and shops. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen held many amenities you don't always find available. This made staying in and cooking at home very easy. Instructions were super clear and response time was immediate. We would definitely return to stay at Joel's townhouse again. Thank you!

Great location! Host is excellent and very responsive. We spent 5 nights and always felt like we came “home” at night. The bed was very comfortable as was the entire space. Only negative, our feet hurt from walking the hills! Ha, no negatives, stay with Emi and you will be happy you did.

This is our fifth time staying here. It is so nice to walk in and feel like we are at home . It is our go to place to stay for our Annapolis visits.

James’s place was very nice. He was super responsive when I had questions. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood!

We had a great stay. We were in town for our yearly trip to see the Dodgers vs. Nationals game and see a museum. Place was as described, in a great location to uber, nice walking area and quiet. Host was very responsive. Bed was very comfortable. Loved having a kitchen to cook breakfast and a parking spot in back of the property. Thank you.

Nya was very nice and let us keep luggage before check-in and after check-out that was super helpful and comfortable! The place is very cosy, kitchen is greatly equipped in comparison with some other airbnbs, the location is great. Recommend!

Susan’s home was a wonderful large house for my senior parents, husband, and I to enjoy. Plenty of room to spread out, cook breakfast, and relax when not traveling in to D.C. We really enjoyed the cute, walkable neighborhood and the mature plantings and covered front porch! Easy to get into D.C. on the metro, but finding parking midday at the Takoma station was a little challenging one of the days. Walking to the station works if you are fit, but can be a little hilly for an older person. We also drove in a couple of days. Overall a great place to call home for a few days!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and in the perfect location, we walked to parks and to pick up bagels. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we could possibly need. Everyone felt immediately at home and comfortable.

The place was great and walking distance to the Gaylord for our conference.

This is a lovely home in a neighborhood with a lot of historic charm. Very walkable to the Navy Yard, bikeable to the Anacostia Trail, and we easily walked to the National Mall and the Smithsonian. The house was clean, cozy, and very quiet. Parking was incredibly easy, plentiful, and free. The outdoor spaces were really nice. It rained a bit and we could sit out on the private front porch, and when the sun was out there was a nice back area with tables and chairs. Sam was a kind, responsive, and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again.

What a cool spot! I took my family to Annapolis to celebrate my sister’s 60th and we stayed on Kent Island at Nila’s place. The drive here is gorgeous. Thinks scenic with mature trees and headed to the water. The grounds are gorgeous with the golf course meandering throughout. Everyone is friendly driving their golf carts and waving. The house is sick! Think mad men for 2024. Felt like I was staying in an upscale hotel with family, cozy bedrooms upstairs. Plus the second living room. Soooo cool. I did get the projector to work and watched a few dvds with the surround sound. That was pretty cool!! I do Airbnb a lot and I would give this experience a 10/10 on all the things that matter - value, comms, thoughtfulness, cleanliness, location etc. thank you Nila!

This was an ideal home for our vacation in DC. The location is an easy walk to a Metro station and also quick easy access to all main roads in DC. We had a rental car and loved that it could be parked behind the house, making it quick and easy to return home. Another fun plus was the easy access to the Congressional Cemetery which ended up being a beautiful walk in the spring. The kitchen was well stocked and worked well to eat in, which we did often. DoorDash from the Roost was fast and delicious! Katie and Ryan were excellent hosts, very communicative, and genuinely went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The house was just as pictured, the bathrooms had wonderful showers, and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again if ever in DC!

We were a three-generation family of 5 who had a truly great stay here. It was super clean and has character. We were happy for the coffee, ease of parking, and local places to go. Was so great to be in a lovely neighborhood that was a short drive to the National Mall. Nathan was helpful, friendly, and responsive. Kids loved the board games. Thank you so much for a fantastic DC trip!!

Melissa’s place was absolutely wonderful & exactly as described. The snacks and fully stocked bathroom was a nice plus! It felt cozy and comfortable. The metro station is only a 15 ish minute walk away making it easy to get anywhere in DC. I would 100% stay here again.

The apartment was lovely and it’s situated in a peaceful neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and metro. We had a great experience! We had trouble finding a parking spot one of the nights, but overall the parking worked out fine. We would recommend this place and the hosts were great!

Stacey was so welcoming and kind. I felt right at home and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything I might need. Next time I come through Waldorf, this will be my first choice. :)

Susan’s home is incredibly warm and inviting—it truly feels like staying in a loved one’s house. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, with friendly neighbors and a great park nearby. The house itself is charming, with comfortable beds, a cozy sunroom, and a beautiful backyard for the kiddos. The layout was functional and practical for our family of four adults and two kids. We were able to enjoy the common spaces together very comfortably while also being able to retreat into our individual spaces for privacy. Street parking was always available, and check-in/check-out were seamless. Susan was incredibly kind and responsive, making us feel right at home. It’s clear this is a cherished home, not just a rental, which adds to its warmth and character. While there’s not a ton of storage space for clothing, it wasn’t an issue for our 3-night stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
