wonderful stay. centrally located for the invasion beaches. pictures don't do this place justice. absolutely great spot. communication was great. fast and informative. we would recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay enormously and would def recommend. However the hosts might think about changing the front door lock as we had to leave the house unlocked at night and during the day when out.

Impeccable house, all comforts, including a very pleasant winter garden in case of rain to enjoy the outdoors. It is also ideally located, beaches, shops and restaurants within walking distance (5-10 minutes). All this in a region to discover or rediscover especially for history buffs.

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

Functional house. Very well located for visiting the different landing sites (Bunker, Caen memorial, American Cimetierre, Pegasus Birdge etc ...) The house is a few minutes from the sword beach by car.

It's not easy to find a place to stay for a family or friends get together. Everything is there here. Number of bedrooms and beds, recreational equipment for children and adults, dishes, seats, all in number for a large group. It's clean. My garden is nice, like the house. Thanks again for this weekend!

We needed a place to stay in Caen with our dog so we could explore the area and Arnaud’s place was absolutely perfect. The location is very central and yet also very private with it’s completely enclosed garden. We were welcomed personally and immediately felt at home and comfortable. It is quiet and peaceful, and ideal for our dog who just wanted to relax in the shade. All of the things inside worked perfectly and the home itself is very well equipped. We highly recommend Arnaud’s place and will stay there again when we visit Caen.

Sandra was an excellent host and made our stay so easy. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back!

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Fantastic property to stay in. House is immaculate, clean and resides in a beautiful area of a quiet village. With country side walks on the door step and a short drive to a lovely beach town that has restaurants, bakery and historical sites allows plenty to enjoy. Heated pool and outside areas match the standards presented inside the property and all together make a very comfortable stay. Line is a great host and very helpful. Overall very happy and would recommend this beautiful house.

Great stay ! The location and house was wonderful. The pool was great and such a lovely surprise that it was heated ! Only thing was that our dog had to be shut in a couple of times because of a cat but it was fine. Couple who owned this listing were very helpful. Thank you for a great stay.

Small heavenly cottage, very peaceful. Small garden not overlooked. Very clean accommodation. We didn't miss anything. Thanks to Flora for the small touches that awaited us and for hosting us. The place was FANTASTIC!! Only suggestion to host would be a second set of towels, and extra paper products. ie paper towels/toilet paper.

This accommodation is very good, the only one where you can find such equipment, never seen it. There is nothing missing, everything is designed to make you feel good. The vintage and modern decor mix goes very well, at least to my taste. 😊 I would come back for sure. Close to everything. This weekend brought back a lot of memories. Thanks to David and Aurélie.

🌿This ground floor accommodation was perfect for our winter vacation: a peaceful oasis, bathed in calm with lots of comfort. The accommodation was even more amazing than the description & photos, we were delighted with our choice to recharge with our children and our dog. ✨Impeccable cleanliness, very comfortable bedding. We did not opt for the additional sheets service, but have no doubt that this is prepared with professionalism as with everything else. Good quality duvets and pillows were available to put our own sheets on. Quality kitchen equipment Very nice🏠 location, and offers direct beach access, surrounded by incredible architecture along the pedestrian walkway. 🚗 during this period, we had easily found a place in the alley 10 yards away. Very poor telephone🛜 reception in these places, but the accommodation's wifi internet makes up for this. 🙏For this perfect set, thank you ✨

Nathalie's accommodation is very clean and nice, communication easy and friendly. The sea is within walking distance in a few minutes, you will find very nice restaurants.

My stay at Estelle's went very well. I immediately felt comfortable there. She greeted me as soon as I arrived, and I knew that if I needed her help with anything she was there. The location is superb, a few minutes from the sea and the apartment is very well and nicely equipped. A princess bed… thank you Estelle!

True to the description of the accommodation, we spent 2 days relaxing with nature and our animal friends (swans; coypus) that we were able to observe in peace with the binoculars provided. we expect to be back next year. thank you

Nicely located for reaching all the Normandy beaches and museums. A good selection of restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and a great patisserie right opposite for the mornings croissants. House was clean and comfortable, perfect for our three night stay.

The apartment and the stay were excellent. The host was very welcoming and cheerful. I highly recommend this Airbnb.
