it was wonderful going back to the home my husband and I built. They have maintained the integrity of the home. They offered so many activities for guests. The beds were comfortable. My family enjoyed the pool again. The home was seasonally decorated. Very good directions for finding the house, using the laundry appliances, and using facilities. it was a fun celebration of my birthday with my family. Had enough beds for everyone. it was nice that it was pet friendly. my family wants to come back next year! Thank you Jamie.

We loved our stay! Vicki was very responsive to my questions and have clear and complete directions for everything. The apartment was super clean, was decorated so nicely, and had everything we needed and more! I would definitely love to stay again and recommend the Highway Hideaway to anyone visiting the area!

A Tiny House in the country.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Colorado Bend State Park, which is a short and enjoyable 30 minute drive from the property and about 20 minutes from Lampasas if you need to go to town for something! The little cottage was clean and comfortable, complete with screened in porch, and an electric golf cart to drive around the ranch property with! We saw her cows, rabbits, and even a couple herd of deer on the first night after sunset, which reminds me, the sunsets on the property are amazing! All in all a very enjoyable weekend! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have told some friends about it as well!

Great place to stay if you prefer quiet small town/ Community setting. It was definitely worth the trip from Georgetown Hosts John and Angie were very flexible, welcoming and helpful if I had any concerns, which i definitely didn’t! Farm eggs were included in the stay which was great!

Home was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Guest manual had clear, detailed information. Kitchen had plenty of utensils and pans for cooking. View from deck was stellar. 6 of us came to visit my daughter’s family of 4 to see our new niece/grandaughter. This gathering place worked well for our family!

Linda is amazing super host. She was ready to provide anything you might need to make your stay perfect. On a scale of 1 to 10 she was a 23!! The room was clean and comforable. everything you could want or need for an overnight stay was available.

The exterior of a duplex showcases a modern design with a mix of brick and siding. Two garages with black doors are visible, framed by windows on either side. Well-maintained lawns and small trees enhance the welcoming curb appeal.
