Lisa was a delightful host and I really enjoyed my couple days at her cabin! The cabin itself was true to the pictures, and even cozier in-person! Perfect place to stay if you're wanting to go up north! Lisa was super helpful and responsive to texts, and was exceedingly personable and kind -- she remembered I mentioned I wanted to go hiking and asked me how it was the next day! I also tripped a breaker one of the days I was there, and she immediately came over to help me trouble shoot once I texted her. I absolutely plan on coming back in the future and would definitely recommend this cabin to others!

My wife and I were in the area for business and this place was perfect. Minutes from town, but on a very quiet dead end road. Hardly heard a car the entire stay. The owners live next door and there are other neighbors nearby, but the only thing we heard were some kids playing up the road one evening. The view across the lake is perfect. you can see the state park, some homes, and a mountain. The closed in screen porch was a great place to enjoy the quiet and the lake view. The place was clean and comfortable with a nice desk and office chair that my wife used to work from while there. the only negative I could think of is the steps and uneven ground leading to the front door may be difficult for some, but it appears they were working to improve that. We hope to come back!!

Nick and Michelle are an exceptionally hospitable and generous couple who make guests feel very welcomed. The home is private and rustic but very clean. Nick and Michelle are extremely responsive and willing to accommodate as much or as little involvement in their daily farm lives as you wish. Being present during the goats’ kidding season was incredibly special and I helped with the care of six newborn goats. I hope to return someday.
