Vacation rentals in Lake Tagokura

There were many places to enjoy commercial facilities and bagel shops nearby.The sunshine in the morning was in a pleasant location.

It was the best stay I've had so far. It said to contact them in advance for the check-in time, so I contacted them after noon on the day. When I arrived on time, they welcomed me while shoveling snow, and they also helped me carry my luggage. The interior was very clean. There was plenty of dishes and cooking appliances, and there was no inconvenience in cooking. (There were no seasonings provided.) There were also three toilets and washrooms, so there was no problem staying with 10 people. I didn't use the washing machine, but there was a very large washing machine. It was Kusatsu Onsen in the middle of winter, but there was air conditioning and floor heating, so I didn't feel cold indoors at all. Bathing was decided at the bathing time as described, but I think it was necessary from a safety point of view. There are 3 showers, and the bathtub is large enough for 3 adults to stretch out. It was great with a clean and well-kept hot spring. There was also a heater, and the water didn't get cold. The location was about a 5-minute walk to a convenience store, a 5-minute drive to a supermarket, and about a 10-minute walk to Yubatake. There are many slopes and the roads are not cleared of snow, so if you are not used to it, you need to be careful when visiting in winter, but I think the location is perfect. After checking out, they kept our luggage so we could enjoy Kusatsu Onsen to our heart's content. I highly recommend this place to stay for those considering visiting Kusatsu.

Great place. The room is in a cabin that’s part of a larger resort. Super friendly staff. Clean room. No air conditioning but the temperatures in the mountain are moderate so didn’t need it.

The room is very spacious and clean as advertised, and there are many restaurants and cafes around, so it was a great stay.The host is also very kind, always responsive, and I want to visit again and again.Thank you!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this house! The location is simply amazing – calm, relaxing, and surrounded by breathtaking nature that made every moment feel peaceful and serene. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and me to enjoy the holidays in tranquility. The host was wonderful – always supportive and quick to help when we needed assistance, yet perfectly unobtrusive when we didn’t. It truly felt like we had the space to fully unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. We hope to return someday!

Incredibly beautiful cabin with a unique character and great atmosphere. Noriko went above and beyond to ensure instructions were clear; from directions, check in, in home instructions, and recommendations nearby. Bathroom was 11/10 and gorgeous. Place was cold when we got there but provided heaters warmed it up very quickly. For those going there, Google maps directions brought you right to the front and was easy to find. If visiting during the winter season, make sure to have at least studless snow tires as roads are very icy.
