Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Murten

Our family of four had a pleasant stay at Yukiyo's residence. The location was advantageous and well-suited for commuting to various destinations. While we encountered a minor inconvenience with a malfunctioning washing machine, Yukiyo made commendable efforts to address the issue. The house was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, we encountered a challenge with the provision of garbage bags, as Switzerland utilizes taxed garbage bags and the house only provided one large bag for our five-night stay. This posed a slight inconvenience, as additional bags needed to be purchased in bulk from supermarkets. Overall, our experience was satisfactory.

It was our first family trip to Switzerland and Sabrina’s place was in the perfect spot to see so many different sights. We had a very busy week and everything was within an easy drive. It is located in a quiet residential area with amazing views towards Jungfrau. The house itself is well laid out and has plenty of space. We found it very comfortable. It was a nice surprise to find all the main UK channels were available on the TV to watch in the evening. We have a lot more to see in Switzerland so we will definitely return to Sabrina’s place.

André and Sabine are very welcoming and responsive hosts. They are available and very friendly. The place is impeccable and great to meet when you are in large numbers. The beds were spotless and very comfortable. The lack of TV was not a problem as there are many games for any age and board games. We are delighted with our weekend. Thanks again!

Francoise’s place was perfect for us, two friends travelling. Plenty space which meant we both had our own bed- and bathroom and more than enough space in the kitchen and living room. Very clean and had all amenities we could ask for. Lovely big garden space to make use of, too. I have no hesitation recommending Francoise’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

We liked the place VERY MUCH. Totally stylish and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. For our children, there were also many ways to linger through the cool rooms, furniture, the swing on the upper floor, the playroom in the attic and the great toys we found in a closet. Only the steep staircase to the upper floor is not so suitable for very small children, as they need companions (open and without railings). The beds were super fresh and very comfortable. The kitchen was tiptop equipped. We felt immediately comfortable, the children were also very enthusiastic. The house is lovingly decorated. Really great. The contact with the hostess was super nice and quick. She always responded within a short time. We came by public transport, so you just have to factor in some time because the nearest bus stop is about 25 minutes away. But that worked. Nice and quiet area, with possibility to go into the forest.

We had the most wonderful stay here. We always like being just out of the city centre so this was perfect. Tram stops are just a short walk away was super convenient. Grocery store was closeby and free parking was also very much appreciated. Martina left a booklet of house instructions and recommendations for us which was super helpful and covered everything we could imagine. The amenities were terrific. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Julien's apartment was exactly as expected with such beautiful views of the mountains as a bonus. Communication from Julien was super effective. Our stay was in winter but I would recommend all year round.

Excellent pristine apartment in peaceful location. I used it as a base for cycling. Shower was good. Kitchen was great. I would stay again.

Janine’s place was very conveniently located as less than 5 mins walk from Interlaken West train station. Also has two big stores like Migros and Aldi within walking distance. It was a very peaceful and private place. The view from the balcony was the best feature of the house.

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

Ghislaine was very accommodating, particularly as the booking was so last minute. The cosy and characterful apartment was very convenient for reaching the restaurants and amenities of Morzine and also getting outwards Avoriaz for higher altitude skiing, with the bus stopping outside the apartment block. I imagine it is also a great place to stay for the summer with the proximity to the beautiful mountains and all they can offer. Thanks for sharing your apartment!

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how good the coffee tasted and this without capsules. We'd love to be back in Patrizia's apartment.

Great place to stay little crowded for 4 people great for 2, has everything you need and walking distance to everything.
